Coco Taqueria Yonkers — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

In the past I would speak very highly of this restaurant, that was until the more I ordered the more I was getting different portions for the same kind of over price. Not even just that or how a Spanish couple walked in (im black btw) and asked for elotes fine they get theirs me And my boyfriend asked for some as well and the younger teenage lady then proceeded to say they had none after me and my boyfriend just saw them and we said that to her then she said the ones they had were bad. So we brush it off whatever get our normal food while we’re waiting another Spanish couple comes in and orders elotes as well and just as expected she serves them the elotes. Even if they were bad why were they being served? Being served to everyone but the blacks? I’m not one to point racism but you can’t come on lake tryna be racist. Especially when we’re putting money in ur pockets. Now the cherry on top the cake that made me stop eating here is when I ordered my usual chicken it comes with rice beans plantains on the side tortillas and the chicken itself is in a separate container with peppers onions tomatoes and red sauce not too sure what the dish is called. But it was RAW RAW CHICKEN. THEY SERVE RAW CHICKEN, so I went back simply asked for a refund because the chicken was raw lady that’s usually there started acting like she didn’t know English brought my food in the back for a few minutes man came out and asked my issue I explained it’s raw he said overcooked I am a cook myself I understand what’s raw and what’s not. He steady insists I’m wrong and the chicken is over cooked not knowing what they could’ve done with it in the back. Then refused to give me a full refund for the chicken entree. Seventy dollars for some bland, disgusting wanna be authentic Mexican food, they got the order all wrong, the guy that delivered the food acted like he didn't have change and he didn't speak english, the lady who was trying to take the order didn't know english and than she put a guy on the phone who barely spoke english, the hard tacos were disgusting the shell itself spell like it was cooked in old oil reminded me of the smell of paint on the walls drying and than you turn the oven on, the kids burrito, was the only thing that tasted like the put some effort into it, but the fries were cold, the chicken in the quesdilla was bland, the tortilla was barely cooked or heated up, no effort at all, if you want to waste your money go right ahead, they are giving Mexicans a bad rep cuz if that's authentic than that means that they don't know how to use seasonings or just don't know how to cook, I gave them a chance only cuz my daughter was like they got a taco place over and I was starving but we already had ordered from mickey's pizza the night before but never again...

This is the Last time I ordered or ate at this place I Spend hundreds of dollars here for them to do this The worst experience of my life as a Chef n food lover is unacceptable. The lady that works there doesn't like her job at all she is so miserable n have a disgusting attitude. I Order a breaded chicken torta which she messed up my order and gave me a breaded steak. I returned it, the cook and her got upset because I returned something I didn't order. They gave me an attitude and made me wait 20 minutes to make me a chicken Torta. I took it and the first bite I took was so bad they purposely put a huge amount of salt 😞 in my torta , it was so disgusting I vomited. And they purposely left my chicken raw it was completely raw 🤢🤢🤢. I'm putting a report on the Health Department. People like this shouldn't have a job in any restaurant in NYC.
