El Valle — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

I literally ordered the other day and there was a piece of Brillo pad in my food. It was the nastiest thing in the whole world I’ve ever experienced imagine eating your food midway and then finding a string of Brillo pad your freaking mouth and then I called them so they can make it right and they didn’t do anything. Didn’t give me my money back. Nothing if I could give them a zero star and I should’ve called the department of health. Nobody should go there this place is disgusting. Then they have audacity to make the combo from $25-$27 to now $30. The plantains are hard. Just go to Malacon or Caridad they are the same price and you don’t have to worry about the customer service the quality of your food and then jacking up the price five dollars extra for hot soda and hard plantains. All the reviews that are here are really true, the food is amazing, the customer service is terrible, I called in trying to order food over the the phone and lady that works there Elena hung up twice, the third time I called she passed the phone to another lady who was giving me attitude and got upset when she asked for my apartment number and I told Her 1022, she said that’s not an apartment number lol and got frustrated. I then tried to place a lunch for ox tail and Elena in the background was saying “tell her we don’t do that here it have be a combo”. I been coming to this restaurant for 5 years and yesterday I bought red beans moro negro and roasted chicken and today I woke up with an upset stomach and I had diarrhea all day today I don’t really care that I got food poisoning but it’s that fact that I called the restaurant and the person who picked up the phone had a whole attitude I understand that you want your food to be perfect but if there is a customer with a concern you should address it without an attitude, I will not eat here again ever after 5 years learn how to talk to your customers, thank you...
