It was a bad experience while trying to order from the drive thru. The guy wasn't talking, so I decided to drive to the window where you pay. He's standing there and claims that he said hello. So, as of this moment, he states I have to go back around again and get in the drive-thru line again. Frustrated, but I did so, I ordered a quarter pounder meal with large fries and asked for a doctor pepper. He stated they don't have that. So I asked for a sprite. He asked what size, I said large. He asks anything else? I said yes, a small Carmel frappe. I go around, pay the same guy I ordered from, thrm proceed to the next window for pick up. The young lady hands me a Carmel frappe and a bag with the quarter pounder and fries ?? Excuse me, where's the Sprite? The guy told you we don't have Sprite. The frappe was substituted for it. No he didn't he said he don't have doctor pepper, he even asks what size in the sprite I said large, she says ah m well we don't have any soda, the frappe was substituted for it. I said you can't possibly do that. I ordered the meal for my husband, who was in the car with me, when he was telling me what he wanted at the time of the order. The frappe is mine, well we don't have soda, she says. Well, what do you have? I asked, "We have ice tea. Well, can we have that large lilttle ice?" we paid for it. She gave it to me, I asked for a straw, she said ok, never came back to that window instead, she proceeded to pack other bag orders of food. I was like, "This is terrible, and I had to drive off." Read moreI give it 3 stars because it is a typical McDonald's. I have never been in one that deserved any better than a 3 rating. Some, I have rated worse. In any case, my only real complaint this place is the wfi there is terribly slow. I usually just go there for the coffee and since I am there at time use their internet to save data on mine. The drive through window can be a nightmare at times only because there is a long line of cars there most times. You are better off just parking and going in to place your order if there are more than 3 cars in front of you at the drive through. Inside it is the annoying 2 line system. Wait to place your order and wait again to pick it up. The place can also be very noisy at times, mostly after school hours due to all the kids getting out of school and coming in. But hey, they have to eat too. It's also very noisy at times because they have the playroom for the kids, which means more people with kids are coming by.. So expect to hear lot of little kids running, screaming and yapping around the place. I have never had any problems with the staff not understanding or getting my order right. Many of the staff are immigrants or teenagers of immigrants, Spanish, Arabs, Asian etc and African American. But that is basically the make up of the neighborhood and fortunately this place creates jobs for the kids living there. Read moreThis McDonald’s takes way too long to provide their service regardless of what time of day it is as of late.
Not only that but this morning at 3:08 AM, I was denied service through the drive-thru because their “system was down”. I drove around to find several cars lined up receiving food and to find people receiving service as they walked up to their service window.
Therefore, I drove back around to be now told, “We’re closed. We close at 3.” I said, “You’re typically opened 24 hours, I’ve been served several different times at this location for years.” She rudely exclaimed, “These people were already in the system. We close at 3AM to clean up and reopen at 4AM.”
So which is it? Your system was down? Or you close at 3AM? Please make the hours more clear online and in person and train your staff on how to better speak to people.
This gave me flashbacks to weeks ago when I placed an order late night with Uber Eats at this location and waited over an hour to finally be called by the courier to let me know that they were told that they are not serving any food at that time. Why not cancel the order on McDonald’s end or give the customer a courtesy call? It was strange. And as a person who works late, upsetting.
