We had an awful night. The service was very slow, but we were patient as they were somewhat busy and looked understaffed. I ordered a simple garden salad with boiled shrimp because I have allergies to certain oils so I couldn’t have grilled. The “plate of iceberg lettuce, with oiled grilled shrimp “ arrived 8 minutes after my co diners received their meals. Not an olive, onion or even a cucumber in this “garden salad”. When we told the waiter, and he said: gee I told the kitchen, but didn’t even offer to fix it. I was starving so I ate the lettuce which he never brought my plain vinegar which I asked for. Next, we wanted more wine and one person wanted coffee and dessert, instead, they brought us the bill/check. When my husband opened it to pay, he found another diners credit card. At this point I went inside and asked three different people to see a manager. The cashier saw what I was holding and two waiters argued whether it was my check. She demanded that I hand over the bill so she could cash out the other table. I refused, and again asked to please speak to a manager. I waited 10 to 15 minutes and no manager ever appeared. I explained again to the cashier how poor the service was but didn’t even bother to mention how bad the other meals were because I figured it was falling on deaf ears. Finally I gave her the other diners bill and credit card and told her that if my credit card was given to another customer that I would’ve lost my mind. Beware, the food is sub par and the service is horrendous. If you go there, pack a suitcase because you will need several hours to choke down your meal. And, don’t think you will get a proper apology when...

Entered this restaurant yesterday and was met with an extremely bad odor of urine. I was greeted by a server and promptly seated in the large dining area. The odor was so bad that when I mentioned it to the person I was with we were both nauseated. Since it was the only place in the area that had a good selection of beer. So nauseated or not we decided to stay and check it out. We ordered the combo appetizer plate and Blue moon beer. The appetizer was a typical appetizer nothing special to write home about. The beer was great, cold and clean from a tap. After a few pints of blue moon the odor of urine subsided. The servers were attentive. We had two servers, the first was a young man tall in stature and the other one was a very attentive young woman. If it had not been for the strong urine odor I would’ve given this restaurant at least 3 or 4 stars overall. Probably will not go there again. Or maybe I will, and give it a second review. Central Ave was my haunt back in the days before Covid. And I was shocked to see how many restaurants closed “for good” along the strip. I traveled an hour and twenty minutes to get there. And was to say the least overall disappointed. The server was definitely worthy of the twenty dollar tip I left him. Hopefully my return visit...

Horrible service & the food was nothing to write home about. My family & I went on a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was practically empty when we arrived, yet the waitress managed to get 5 drink orders of water & soda incorrect. We had a 11 month old with us in a high chair, the waitress continually put items on the table in front of the baby, even though we asked her not to. The busboy cleared a pile of dishes above my sister-in-law's head as well as the babys head because he did not want to walk around the table. The bread we had to ask for a few times, the waitress admitted it was burnt three times that's why it took so long. The order was missing an entrée and the busboy was annoyed when we told him there was another one, well there's only one here. The waitress never came after the food was delivered to see if everything was correct we had to call her over. And the food, wad not that great. I will never go back to this restaurant again which is sad because growing up I was there all the time. Mind you we didn't order anything complicated, simple entrées off the menu, no appetizers, no dessert. Cannot imagine how much worse service would've been had the...

I worked at Pizza Beat as a busboy “back in the day”. It’s hard to find a restaurant that’s stood the test of time, more than 40 years in this case. Granted the ownership has changed over the years, but Pizza Beat is an excellent value. I decided to pay a visit to reminisce about the past and was quite surprised! The food was excellent, and it was a pleasure having Roberto as our server, real nice guy! I had a cup of minestrone soup, and you can tell it’s not from a can, it’s made with fresh ingredients, not salty. Also had the chicken and eggplant parm entree, just delicious and the portions are generous. The cannoli was great too - the shell was crunchy, filled with ricotta cream - looks like they fill the cannoli shells to order, done the right way so it’s not soggy. Will definitely return to try the other dishes! Highly recommend this restaurant. They have a party room and a bar area. Plenty of free parking.

This place is always consistent with their pizza. This day hubby said he felt it was better than ever. I always find it delicious. It's a great place to stop by if you're in the area. The salad wasnt well presented but it was good & all I used was oil, vinegar, salt & pepper. There was this amazing smell of fresh garlic (cooking) and when we were leaving I mentioned it to the cashier, who is directly opposite the kitchen window, & she told me that they had just made some focaccia. I should have ordered some to go, darn it. I had ordered a Shirley Temple & the waiter at least asked me if I wanted Sprite or Seltzer. In another place they just fixed it with seltzer water or ckub soda which wasnt good at all. We decided this would start being our go to for pizza instead of another place. We have several places to go & this will replace 1 of those.

I placed an online order for fettuccine alfredo with chicken at Pizza Beat. My boyfriend and I shared the pasta and as he took a bite, he felt something hard in his mouth. When he took it out, it was a dirty fingernail from the pasta bowl. I called the manager of Pizza Beat to get a refund and they said because I placed an online order, I have to dispute the charge with the app I placed the order through. I never felt so disappointed and disgusted with Pizza Beat. The manager did not sound empathetic at all when I explained the fingernail in my food and didn’t apologize to me once. Instead, he tried to offer another bowl of pasta instead of offering any type of refund or issue any apology. Never ordering from here again.
