Absolutely terrible quality products. My bed frame broke with less than two years' use. All of the wood is cheaply made particle board with very low stress resistance. Weight-bearing wood should be solid, especially for the prices you pay at Bob's. All three metal legs holding up my bed broke (the tac-welds did not hold) and caused the wooden rails to snap. This ultimately caused my box spring to break. I am an average-weight person (~170lbs). The designs for the beds are horrible and are not great at supporting weight; they creak, the bolts loosen over time and require constant tightening, and it felt very unstable after the first month's use. It took three attempts to deliver my dresser and night stand, as the glass tops kept breaking. I asked if I could have the dresser and nightstand shipped to my house anyway without the glass or mirror, and was told the product would only be shipped in its entirety and would have to wait for the warehouse to send another. As a result, I had no furniture for the first two months of moving into my house. I submitted a claim with their "goof proof" insurer for my bed, Guardian Protection Products, as I had paid for coverage, only to be denied due to "the bed being used for its intended purpose". I waited over a week to be told I am ineligible for a replacement part. Guardian has over 1000 reviews with 1 star online, absolute garbage service, do NOT buy coverage as you will not be refunded, nor given a replacement part if something breaks. I paid $150 to have coverage, and according to my receipt, this is a $46 part. This company will scam every penny from you. The saleswoman, Antonella, during my purchase was very assertive and would not take no for an answer when I denied Goof Proof coverage, and made me pay $30 for the cleaning/care products as well. Do not shop at Bob's, take your business elsewhere. They will scam every penny from you.

We had a wonderful experience At Bobs. We had a highly experienced , professional And patient sales person in the Yonkers store named Karlene. She is number 1 in her sales field. We shopped around and decided on Bob's. We made a large purchase, a very high end Mattress. We really look forward to our delivery. I give Bob's. FIVE star rating and review. When you've tried the rest now try the best! Signed ,a very happy customer Below is a picture of the goof, proof, cooling pillow, protector, and mattress protector and pillows that we bought, that were given to us Before the bed was delivered for our convenience. February 14, 2025:: Valentine's Day! Finally the day arrived. The 3 man delivery team arrived earlier than expected. This was an added plus. Note: I had gotten an email a few days ago from Bobs Advising me when the items would be delivered. Then I got an email , the day before , with a three hour window closer to the delivery time which was very helpful. On the morning of the delivery, the delivery man called me and said to be expecting me within a certain amount of time. The three men group did a terrific job. They came in, were very professional and also assembled quite efficiently and promptly, the adjustable base and our The mattress on it. They left me the instructions for the adjustable base and the two remotes that go for the right and left sides. They then , brought in the new luxurious mattress and adjustable base which they set up. The three man team was very accommodating. They threw out our old mattress and box spring in the dumpster right behind my condo unit. The three men group did an excellent job. I give Bobs once again, a FIVE star plus rating and review ! Note: when you've tried all the rest, now try the best! This was the best Valentine gift ever from my husband! Happy Sleeping!

Please don’t buy here. They don’t care about anything. My bedroom set was delivered with mold. And they won’t pick it up or give me my money back. Update- they told me to text them on the review below no text back as of yet. Let me explain the situation in full detail I purchased a bedroom set it was delivered on Saturday afternoon. The delivery guy called customer service and told him that the vanity had to be exchanged, but did not tell me that it had mold just that it was broken. on Sunday morning when I wake up and it’s daylight I’m looking at my bedroom set a notice the mold they do not have 24/7 customers care like they advertise. Monday (yesterday morning) I call and explain the situation to customer service and they told me that they cannot pick up the item because if it was infected with mold, they cannot take it back to the warehouse to get home. Take pictures and text them. I call again when get home super scared because the gentleman already told that mold give me a health problem. The customer care agent tells me to move the items to a garage that they can’t pick up till the 20th. That they cannot give me my money back until they receive the items and Add them back to inventory. So no money back to buy a new set and now my mattress is infected with mold. They just tell me that I have to return it and that’s when they’ll give me my money back, but they don’t accommodate a pick up earlier and convenient for a working mother. 5/30/2023 update with over 10,000 views and yet they still have no removed this from my home 3,000$ spent cleaning up the mold and buy a new mattress this has to be illegal. Update 03/26/2024 almost 1 year and this is still a problem. They have done nothing to help me.

The process to have something fixed is antiquated and too many people involved. The technician took photos of the furniture and then vigorously clicked the buttons on the remote to see if there was a short on the wires. Proceeded to tell me to call a number on MY phone and he will talk. Then stuck his phone in my face to ask me to sign it. Did not explain what I was signing. I said I want to see the documents that I am signing and he said it was that it was for acknowledgment that he was there for the service visit. Proceeded to take out a permanent marker and check marked all the areas on the checklist. Then he took my phone while he was on his phone entering information. The rep over the phone took the information and then the technician ordered the part. Then I said there are two massagers on the chair but the technician argued that with me that there was only one. I explained there are wires on it that say M1 and M2. BOTH are not working. The technician then turns the furniture upside down again and then confirms that I was right and he ordered two boxes to be replaced. Then he packed up his stuff and left me on the phone with the rep to continue the process to place and pay for the order. The technician was not helpful and his approach to customer service is subpar. I continued my conversation with the rep over the phone and he explained to me that the parts will be shipped to me and then I will have to call back and let the store know to send out another technician to repair. The rep also mentioned that they can’t take payments over the phone and so he would have to transfer me to the store. No one was answering at the store so he gave me the number to call back and follow through the process. Do I work for Bob’s? Where’s my paycheck? I’m doing the legwork to get my item repaired. I already knew when I scheduled this appointment what the issue was because I diagnosed it before scheduling and I told them to bring the part. Now I have to wait another week or more to have the parts shipped and a technician to be ordered. This experience is definitely making me second guess my decision in the future of where I will be purchasing furniture. Especially since when I bought the furniture the sales rep did not explain how Goof Proof works and I spent money on an extended warranty that I am not able to use because it doesn’t cover electrical. If I could give this place zero stars, I would! This star rating is for the way I was treated on Thursday, July 31, 2025. On July 31, 2025 I went shopping with my mother, my aunt, my brother and my two children ages 4 and 5 and was accused of abusing my 5 year old and was threatened with the police because she was tantruming for more candy and I refused to give her anymore. As most of us know, Bob’s has candy and other sweets out in jars for their customers to eat, my 5 year old daughter wanted more candy after having allowed her to have two pieces of candy, I told her no and all hell broke loose, she started to scream and grabbed the candy anyway, I told her she was not going to have anymore candy and, embarrassed, I took her to the bathroom as she was crying and screaming demanding i give her more candy. If you are the parent of a toddler you are well aware of the embarrassment that comes with your toddlers meltdowns in public let alone a quiet Bob’s furniture store. When I walked out of the bathroom, after simply allowing her to cool down and scream and cry in the privacy of the woman’s bathroom i was met with at least 3 Bob’s staff member standing guard by the bathroom and my brother scurrying me away saying, “hurry, hurry, they’re going to call the police.” Apparently, according to my brother who was waiting for us outside of the bathroom the Bob’s staff all stood by the bathroom claiming that I was “abusing” my 5 year old and that they were going to call the police. I don’t even hit my children. The fact that they would weaponize the police in this way has had me ruminating about this situation ever since. How dare you! Bob’s on Central Ave staff!! Rather than ask what I needed as a struggling mother they immediately assumed I was “abusing” my toddler without any reason. They did not see me strike her and they did not see me harm her in any way, shape or form. What did I do? I grabbed the candy out of her hand and told her she could not have anymore. Shame on you! Despite the fact that Bob’s products consistently need fixing after using them, this response to me struggling with my daughter was disgusting and quite frankly RACIST! I would love to know had I been a blonde hair blue eyed struggling mother of a toddler would they have responded by threatening a call to the police. I will follow up with a call to corporate and a call to the better...

Just want to let you all know that one of the employees who works in the office section of the store is the one who encouraged me to write this review. Unfortunately, I had a really bad experience with one of your reps, Antonella who goes by Nella. If it makes it easier please watch your camera footage of June 26, 2024 between the hours of 7:30pm-8:10pm. I walk into the store and I am approached my Antonella. Shes asks me if I need help and I explained to her that I had an issue with a bill and want to speak to someone in the office. She then asks me for my phone number and says that maybe she can help me instead. I give her my phone number and I assume is looking through my account on her tablet. She then starts to yell at me and says" WHY THE HELL ARE YOU BOTHERING ME THEN?!?!?! THIS AN ISSUE FOR THE OFFICE NOT FOR ME. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE THEN WASTING MY TIME?!" I then told her calmly that the only reason I spoke to her was because she approached me and she asked me for help in the first place. Even one of the employees went up to her and said "Whats going on? Relax." She then started to point her fingers at me and then at the office. She literally pointed her fingers in my face and told me I was in the wrong and should have gone straight to the office. When I got to the office, one of the employees there told me that that was not okay and she encouraged me to write this review and call the Bobs furniture line to complain about her attitude. The employee at the office is the one who even gave me her name and told me that no one should be speaking to me that way. I understand people have personal issues outside of work but everyone has problems and it's not fair that she took out her problems on me or takes them out on other people. Antonella (Nella) was very disrespectful and did not care about causing a scence. I did not want to cause a scence and thats why I just decided to ignore her but Antonella does not seem to care about making a scence. I was extremely disappointed as last time I went Edwin was a sweetheart and was so friendly. I am truly disappointed about this place I thought customer service was beyond better but I guess not.
