I haven't been to this location prior to this. We went there to get 5 large orders of fries. Anyone who knows Five guys, knows that their large fries are huge. My husband came home with TWO bags of fries (keep in mind that we ordered 5 large and they normally come in their own bag or the most, two to a bag). I opened one bag and saw that there were 4 cups of fries in there, not overflowing and the other bag, I pulled out one cup of fries that was literally half empty. I asked my husband if he had eaten any of the fries and he said no. I ended up pouring the fries in one container and it wasn't even enough to feed 6 people. This may sound unreasonable, however 3 weeks ago, we went to a Five Guys and bought 4 large fries (they each come in their own bag with fries overflowing) and it fed 3 families (a total of 6 adults, 2 teens, 4 children 5-12 years, 3 children 2-4, and a 1 year old). We still had so many fries left over as well. So it was disappointing to see that we paid $40.23 for 5 large fries that were probably more like the size of regular fries and not worth the money. I assume that this is because they may not get as much traffic as other Five Guys due to the location so they try to save in that area. Either way.... this is what Five Guys is known for.... Great burgers, and great fries with generous servings.... and the peanuts, of course. Haha. I will just travel the extra miles to go to Cross County...
Read moreIf I could give the store no stars, I would . My daughter and myself visited this store this evening against my better judgment. I asked for my condiments to be on the side due to having to travel a long distance to get home. The employees and Manager began to complain, saying "why does she want them all on the side?". The last time I was there I ask for no salt and the male employee with the sandy red hair dumped the pan in water then placed my fries after cooking in the wet pan. As for today, he was sweeping the kitchen as they were cooking which is against code. As my daughter and myself were leaving, I asked to speak to the manager to whom had no front teeth. I Told him about my experience he just stared at me for about a minute with a blank stare like a deer in headlights. And then said "I wasn't here so I dont know". No apology at all. I asked for the district managers phone number and he walked towards the back and came back with his phone, and gave me the wrong number. This establishment had horrible poor customer service and Poor management. I will never go to this 5 guys...
Read moreThe burgers are great! The availability of toppings for the burgers is most welcomed.
However the fountain drink, dispensing machines are seemingly, always depleted; as far as lemonades are concerned. I prefer not to drink sodas.
To their credit, the staff is wonderful. And, they stay on top of maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area.
Having roasted peanuts to munch on while waiting for one's order is a huge plus; if one doesn't have allergies against nuts. This reminds me of my childhood, when we would get hot bags of freshly roasted, salted peanuts. Sooo, amazing! Hint, hint...
Thank goodness, they resolved the slippery floor issue, from years ago. That was a lawsuit waiting to happen.
