On st. Patys day 2019 I decided that I wanted to take my husband out to eat at an Irish restaurant. He never been to one before. I told him about an awesome experience I had when my mom took me to one. The service was great and the food was amazing. Trying to share that same experience with him for my 2nd time my Google search engine led us here. At first it looked amazing from the outside. It was decorated, and Irish music was playing from the speakers on the outside. I was excited thinking I found a great spot. There was valet parking, but we had to park it because the attendant couldn't drive a stick shift. We walk in and its crowed. There was a small sign at the entrance telling us to go all the way to the end and meet up with the hostess who wasnt there at first. When he arrived he looked like he was in a rush to seat us. We sit to see a paper menu with not much to choose from. We order a special drink, and mild buffalo wings. We get no water. No eating utensils, and no napkins. We get our very small watered down drinks, and about 15-20 minutes later our bbq chicken wings... Yes, we got the wrong order but we kept it trying not to cause any trouble. I start looking around and notice other people have complimentary bread baskets filled with something on their table. Water, napkins and the whole 9 yards. Whats going on here? At this point I realize we are being treated poorly. I told the waiter I will pay for my drinks and appetizer, but I wanted to leave. I felt very uncomfortable, and I didnt want to eat here anymore. He gets the manager who asked me what the problem was. I told her, but she totally ignored me and tried to make me take our original orders to go that she'll rush it out the kitchen for us. I told her no, and again she asked me what the problem was. She accused me of changing the flavor in my order of buffalo wings and told me I couldn't do that. I told her to look at what I odered... Upon doing so she comes back to me, gives me the receipt, and tells me to never come back there again. The nerve of that tiny unkept woman. Who wants to go to a place that treats you like you dont belong??? Not me... Never again! It seems like if your not Irish your...

Came home to visit my family for the weekend and my mother and brother insisted on taking me here for lunch and I was so happy they did.. The portions are well worth the money. The food was delicious. First we had the steamed muscles in the white wine sauce.. the muscles were cooked perfectly and if i had more bread I would have sucked up every bit of that wine sauce. My brother ordered the half roasted chicken with mash and veggies, my mother had the fajitas and I had the Roast Beef with mash and veggies. The veggies were fresh and crunchy, lightly seasoned and perfectly cooked. I could have eaten a whole bucket of those veggies. The roast beef was sliced perfectly, season well and cooked to perfection. Every bite literally melted in my mouth. When it said it came with an au ju I was really expecting your typical au ju, instead i had this gravy-like sauce that I could have poured on a flip flop and it would have been edible. Their drinks were also great. My brother had a Black and Blue for those Guinness lovers, I had a Bellini and my mother had their margarita. She is not a big drinker so for her to not only drink it but eat the crushed ice, I know it was a great drink. The service was wonderful, our waiter was patient and prompt. The atmosphere is Irish pub all the way. The bathroom was clean and smelled AWESOME. to the point i was looking around the bathroom trying to figure out where the scent was coming from. When I go back to NY I am going to add this to my places of must-eateries next to my my moms kitchen... Please do yourself a favor and go to this restaurant... they do...

I have never ever been to a place where customer service is top priority until I came across this restaurant. I recently just moved to NY from NH and was looking for places to eat nearby and this place popped up so there I went. The atmosphere of the place is very warm almost like you feel at home and the food definitely taste really good.

I am writing this review because of how amazing the staff members and even the owner I believed was there introducing himself to customers. This restaurant is very welcoming. And the server that took care of me yesterday I think her name was Maria is just a doll. They took the time to talk to you and laugh with you almost like you were visiting your relatives. And this lovely older woman Liz I think her name was who I found out has been in the restaurant for 23 years is a lovely person.

They have a huge variety of food to choose from and as well as drinks. I ordered fish and chips and I was amazed on how delicious it was. I had my fair share of bad fish and chips and the most recent one is when I went to White Plains and ordered fish and chips and was very disappointed how very greasy it was to the point that the batter had become soggy. Then I went and asked Maria (super awesome server) if the fish and chips here were good and she had said yes so I ordered it. And OMG!! The batter was light and crisp and the fish is fresh and flaky and most definitely fresh and not frozen fish.

You guys just got yourselves a repeat customer and would definitely come back again and would recommend this place...

We ate here earlier this afternoon. The place was extremely. Being that this was our 1st time visiting, we waited at the door for a couple minutes for a hostess to be seated. We were unsure if it was seat yourself or not. However, you must go in a few feet more right past the bar area & you'll see the hostess stand. The staff we encountered were friendly. Management even walked around greeting and checking on patrons. The atmosphere is very loud & noisy but nice. If you're looking for quiet and subtle then maybe this is not the place for you. We ate light but the food we ordered everyome stated they enjoyed their dish. Spicy buffalo wings were quite tasty. I hate bleu cheese. However, their bleu cheese doesn't taste like traditional bleu cheese & was very good. My mom ordered the house salad with vinegarette dressing and stated it was pretty good. I ordered the french toast, potatoes and bacon from the late night menu a side of Irish sausage and scrambled eggs. The reason for the 4 stars on service is because it took a long time for a couple of the beverages. Initially and refill. Specially the unsweetened tea. It came from the bar area so I'm unsure if this was the reason for the delay. We were finished eating by the time the refill came. According to the menu they're open to 3a.m. (unsure if this is every night). Would definitely visit the establishment again if we're ever in the area.

We recently held a “proper Irish wake” for our Father, who was a retired Policeman and volunteer Fireman. We had a great many special requests, all of which were granted graciously by Majella, who arranged and oversaw our event. We also had contact with James at the Bar, and Rory Dolan himself came in to check on us. We brought in an Irish Folk Singer. Large pictures on easels and Specialty cakes, all of which was handled beautifully by the staff, modifying their usual set up and working with us on every need. The food was of the highest quality, delicious and plentiful, and beautifully presented. The young ladies handling were both pleasant and efficient and kept the 120 or so folks moving swiftly through the room and cleared the tables of plate ware and silverware very quickly, allowing more room on the table for drinks, coffee and desert. Anyone considering an event, no matter what the occasion should contact Majella at Rory Dolan’s, as they are extremely easy to deal with and deliver an excellent product. We could not be more pleased with our experience!

Step on over to the Ireland of Yonkers where the Irish flags fly a many and one can easily feel the luck of the Irish is alive here. The warm woodwork, cozy booths, and linen-covered tables make a great impression even before being seated. The bar is broad and welcoming. No surprise as the pubs in Ireland are like visiting family~ fun, friends, and good food surround you. The staff is attentive and the food selections enticing. We enjoyed the Reuben on Rye, Buttermilk Chicken sandwich, and Fried Calamari. Truly stuffed with flavor, the corned beef is sliced thinly and melts in your mouth while the latter sandwich has a spicy gochujang sauce, and radish slaw cilantro to entice you.  The Calamari was crisp and tender. Rory Dolan's offers DJ music on weekends. So put on your ghillies and reel shoes and head on over to this side of the river! It is a great spot for dear friends to gather or make new friends too!
