Smokey T's — Restaurant in Clanton

This was my third visit here and it was not a good one. The first was good. The second they messed up the order and were not very customer service friendly in fixing it. But today made me decide not to give this business my money. I went through the drive thru and waited about 10 minutes to place my order behind other customers. This was not a problem. I only ordered a pound of pork, xl baked beans, and xl potato salad. Three items. The young man asked if I would pull around again and my order would be ready when I got back around. Still not a problem I thought if it kept the line moving. I pulled around with only one car in front of me. This is where it went downhill. I sat there for 15 minutes waiting for them to fill this customer's order. Why not have this customer pull around also I wondered. When I got to the window and inquired why I was asked to pull around, then have to wait 15 minutes for my order, this was the response..."That lady had a big order and was spending a $100." What? So, since I only spent @ $28 I was not as important??? I would of been fine if I was just given an apology, but to say this to me was wrong. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Will never go back...

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Went thru a couple weeks ago & ordered a lg cheeseburger, plain. They gave me a small (took back the small- I'm not from this state, where I'm from, once it's in a customer's hands, u can't take it back; they swapped it, so I checked to make sure it was plain & didn't notice how small the patty was) my son started eating it & couldn't finish it because it was so charred on the other side & then we saw how small the patty was. It looks like what they did was switch the buns & left the small patty. I called, told them what happened & they said I had to bring it back. I live too far away for that, so I just decided to take the loss. My husband went thru today & had an even worse experience & will be posting his own review. The WORST customer service eve . Other than the nice young lady that waited on me I cannot recommend this place. The person in charge was loudly talking poorly about another employee that was not there and talking down to another employee who was there. It was a very uncomfortable experience as a customer. It was probably a mistake to order ribs on a Monday. Although I was given a nice number of ribs, they were very small, not very meaty and had the texture of jerky.
