The Service & Quality of food is TERRIBLE at this location. The staff, at least in the evening time, seems more concerned with socializing than actually doing their jobs. Even worse, we've gone through the drive through 3 times now, and seen employees shoving food in their mouth while handling customers food, money, and drinks. If you're going to eat, then do it on your break, not in front of customer, and certainly not without washing your hands before touching other peoples stuff.
The kid that was there last night just stood with his back against the drive-thru window chatting on with the young lady that was standing there also. 2 Employees doing nothing, but getting paid. He didn't give us a receipt, we had to ask for it, didn't ask if we needed any Taco Bell sauce, and there were no napkins were in the bag..
The food is of the worse quality I've seen from any other Taco Bell we've been to. Its never consistent in what you get compared to what you pay for. You could order 3 tacos, all cost the same, but 1 could be have an acceptable amount of ingredients and the other 2 contain just enough to satisfy the hunger of the worlds smallest mouse. We pay the same for the items, they should be made the same. We've been to this location a few times, and always like this, and its not just on a per item incident. You could order something one time, it's made decently well, but then order the same thing on another visit and its like they were running out of ingredients so they barely put anything on it. Or they fill it with a ton of lettuce. We got one of the crunch wraps, it had almost no meat, almost a hole head of lettuce and an insane amount of sourcream. It wasn't even edible! Is it not logical to expect someone to be made the same as all others if you're paying the same price for it? I mean if we go to Walmart and buy two Toasters, we don't expect one to have half a power cord and only toast the bread on one side.. No, we expect them to work the same way, as we paid the same price for both. You don't go to McDonalds and buy 2 hamburgers, and expect one to only have half a beef patty..
And I don't know what it is about this location, but their tacos are always so watery. We live maybe 10min from the store, and by the time we get home, every single taco is soggy on the bottom, to the point that when you pick it up, the little bit of meat in them all falls out.. Its ridiculous!
We've avoided going to Taco Bell because of all these issues, but you often get that Taco craving.. After last night, we'll start making Tacos at home instead.
Whoever owns this store, needs to get their employees in check, and ensure the food is being prepared correctly and...
Read moreTaco Bell. Sunday. I walked in at 11:30 AM, straight from church, thinking I’d be blessed with a Crunchwrap and maybe a little Baja Blast to keep the holy spirit flowing. But what I walked into was a waiting room for the spiritually and physically broken.
The place was packed. Not with people eating. Oh no. Just folks sitting quietly, holding onto receipts and hope. I placed my order and joined them. The air was heavy with hunger and confusion. Nobody made a sound. It was like the DMV but with a faint smell of nacho cheese.
I looked around and knew instantly this was not going to be quick. One guy was leaned against the wall like he’d been through battle. A woman looked like she was considering canceling lunch altogether and just starting a new life. And one man, I kid you not, looked like he’d been there since the Old Testament.
The screen hadn’t updated in 15 minutes. I watched as people would cautiously approach the counter just to be told “we’re working on it.” I saw friendships form. Trauma bonds. A girl near me started journaling. A child asked his mom, “Will we live here now?”
Finally, after nearly an hour, they called my name. No smile. No “thank you.” Just a quiet handoff of the bag like a peace offering. My Crunchwrap was warm. My Baja Blast hit. But the emotional damage? Eternal.
Taco Bell, I love you. But not like this. Not on a Sunday. Not at 11:30. I came in with faith and left with a full stomach and a...
Read moreTaco Bell in Clanton has truly gone down hill at night and anytime of day if your going through the drive thru. You wait for a long time even with a short line. Went the other night only to be told at the window it would be a “good minute” before they could take my order because they were backed up with Door Dash orders, 18 mins later my order was taken and then I waited at the window 8 minutes for my 2 grilled cheese steak burritos and 2 soft taco supremes and a Pepsi. Only to get home and the burritos were some kind of chicken and the soft tacos were hard shells with no cheese and no supreme anything just meat and lettuce. I tried calling multiple times only to get no answer. Called back during the morning hours and spoke to a manager that apologized and said to come back and she would make it right and she did just that and I showed her receipts and photos. She stated they have a lot of new people and was training. This used to be the best place to eat and they were quick and always got the order right. But for about the last 2 months I’ve been 3 times hoping this would get better, yet each time is worse than the one before it. Hope they get some better management or staff that is capable of running night shift as well as it is run in the daytime, no problems before 7pm order is always right and service is quick even during lunch rush. Taco Bell night shift- Do better take pride in your work and pride to...
