Food is awesome as always because it's IN-N-OUT and their food is bomb! Service is slow (sucks!!!), drive-thru is horrifying (at best), and they aren't very friendly when they walk out to your car for your order. The last time we were there we spent 40-minutes waiting in the drive-thru... and there were ONLY 3 cars ahead of us. Some lovely jerk that pulled in the driveway from across the street yelled at me for not letting him go in front of me and the other cars he TRIED to cut-off that were sitting in the middle of the street waiting to get in the driveway. The cars in the street mind you that were trying to avoid the imminent death that was speeding at them down Indian Hill Blvd because some a$$ puppet was trying to cut off the poor guy that had enough commonsense not to get in the West lane because the In-N-Out traffic is blocking that side of the road every single fricken day! (IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO IN-N-OUT AND YOU'RE DRIVING DOWN INDIAN HILL JUST SOUTH OF THE 10 FREEWAY THEN STAY IN THE LEFT HAND LANE YOU TWINKIE!) Then, you have the unfortunate employee who was suckered into walking outside and taking everyone's order, their goal is to try and speed up the process, but behind the fake grin you know they want to yell at you to take your a$$ home and make a sandwich or slash your tires for making them stand outside and talk to you! (Because they figure we've all eaten enough.) SO, if you can avoid your anticlimactic death, on the street in Pomona (that wasn't even from a gunshot) while you wait to make it into the driveway (alive), if you can keep you anger to yourself about it taking longer for them to make your food then it would have taken for you to grow the cow, plant and sow the vegetables, etc., AND if you can accept the fact that the person standing in front of you, taking your order, may want to cause you personal injury or death for making them talk to you, then this is a fantastic place for you!!!! :c) But, like I said in the beginning; it's In-N-Out so the food...
Read moreThis In-N-Out was a major disappointment. I've visited many of their locations, I've been a huge fan for over the last 20 years since I worked there in high school. The service and quality never disappoints me, so I was surprised at the experience at this location.
The drive thru was tremendously slow. I sat at the window for over 5 minutes waiting for my food after having waited over 30 minutes in line already. I'm not quite sure what they're doing inside but every single car took forever, and I could hear all the cars around me ordering, no huge orders that would cause such a delay. I ate at the Foothill location in Upland a few days earlier and a longer line moved much faster there.
The worst of it was actually the flavor. I've never experience such disgusting food at In-N-Out. The flavor of onion had permeated EVERYTHING. I couldn't figure out where the flavor was coming from so I took apart bits of my burger and tasted each item individually, even the cheese tasted like onions. The grossest part was the lemonade. My lemonade tasted like onion too. From the very first sip as I was pulling out of the drive thru, so it wasn't the ice that was the problem, the lemonade literally tasted like someone had dropped a few onions in it. Don't bother with this location, go to one of the other nearby...
Read moreIf I could give no stars I would. I live the closest to this one but I go out of my way to the la verne location because of how inconsistent this location is. On nights I don’t feel like driving, I go to this one and regret it every time. It’s my fault I’m writing this review because I go back, but tonight will be my last. My order isn’t more complicated than any other persons but somehow they manage to screw it up. Every. Single. Time. :))) I’m not one to go back and complain over little things, I’ll eat it, but they consistently get it wrong. I ask for an open box, they give me a bag. I ask for a well done animal fry with extra onion, they give me the limpest potatoes you’ve ever seen with an embarrassing amount of cheese and a dime sized amount of onion and spread. I ask for whole grilled onion and they give me whole raw onion. They’re small “mistakes” but enough to irritate you when you’re really hungry. It’s almost as if they punish you for modifying a burger. I get it, it’s probably annoying to have to sub certain ingredients, but I wish they would take a little more pride in their job and give quality service. Pomona deserves a better...
