Bubbakoo's Burritos — Restaurant in Clark

I had one of the best quesadillas I've ever tasted in my life this place was awesome their food is fresh the place is so clean and the customer service was excellent. I must go place better than Chipotle.

So I had two different experiences I decided that I was in the mood for a quesadilla again so I went today and to my disappointment there was a man behind the counter who was not very pleasant to say the least. The service compared to yesterday was phenomenal, I wanted to order the same exact meal that I ordered yesterday and instead of them giving me a little side which was in a black little box of my rice my guac my tomatoes which yesterday my total bill came to $13 today I ordered the same thing the guy wouldn't put the stuff in the small little box he put it in a big box and called it a bowl which is not what I wanted and my bill came to $21. Even though they really have great quesadillas and I can't say much for the kid that was behind the register as he had a great personality. They should make sure that all of the people that work there have the same personality and handle customers in the professional with a smile attitude. Our visit to Bubbakoo’s Burritos was nothing less than a food-coma! I mean they take fast casual Mexican food dining to another level!

We visited the new Clark, NJ location and were overwhelmed with the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness, attention to detail and service! The menu is very well explained and you can customize every thing from a burrito to a taco to your desserts!

The location employees were adhering to all covid related norms and the owner himself was particularly involved with customers and staff.

We were greeted by a smiling Mansi, who patiently walked us through the menu and then recommended the salad and love chips.

We ordered the following- Tater tots Chicken quesadilla Love chips Chicken wings (boneless) Vegan burrito Fried oreo

From the tater tots to the fried oreo, everything was just delightful and made to order. We are not picky eaters, but we like to customize our food and mix and match. This place allows you to do that and has phenomenal choices at a reasonable price. Our highlight was the desserts the love chips were crisp and lightly sweet and the dips provided the zing one needs. The fried oreos were as epic as fried oreos should be!

Ordered online. Didn’t check my bag in the restaurant. It was my first time ordering there. Drove 15 minutes home. There was no ranch dressing I ordered for my Buffalo wings. There was no cheese on my daughter’s taco. The Buffalo wings have no crispiness as if they were steamed or microwaved. There is no flour coating on the wings for texture if baked. It was just sauce and skin. Gross. I give them a star for the tasty taco bowl. I expected a freshly made lime, cilantro, and olive oil dressing. It was more like a bottled dressing with preservatives that I could taste. I don’t understand how fresh tomatoes and onions aren’t an option. We don’t eat salsa, but we eat freshly chopped tomato and onion. This is more fast food then authentic homemade Mexican. That meal costed me about $39. I tried to call back but nobody picked up the phone. Not sure I’d want to drive back there anyway. Growing up across the river from NYC, my husband and I are spoiled. We got freshly made decadent authentic Mexican for much less on every corner. It’s hard to do a chain in NJ when so many of us grew up in a competitive restaurant setting. I wish them good luck...
