I keep reading previous reviews about an employee named Arthur. I don’t know if this is the one who caused my panic attack but the 20ish year old near the cash register with short red hair was very rude and literally turned his back on me mid conversation. I have severe anxiety and depression and all I wanted was to order 2 subs. Never been to jersey mikes before so I was confused about sizing so I nicely asked what size is a mini and he points to the picture instead of showing me a real life example. Then while I’m about to ask what the regular size is like he turned his back on me and I ask the girl next to him wrapping the subs. She answered and while I’m waiting to place my order I notice 2-4 people get rung up ahead of me and got very confused ? I thought I could order at the register. But instead of kindly informing me that I had to wait by the display cases to place my order & that I could only pay at register after I ordered they let me wait there like I had all the time in the world. Only after I said something about why they kept taking people ahead of me they told me I had to wait in line. This being said the 1pm manager quickly came to save the day. He listened to my complaints and helped calm my anxiety attack. By the time I went to pay they had comped my order due to the stress I was put under by the employee at the register. I had even asked are you sure? i have no issues paying. He said it’s their pleasure. I was beyond thankful for him. End of story. The managers there definitely deserve a raise! He handled it with poise and kindness, but with that being said- please fire the rude employee with the curly red hair who clearly doesn’t want to work there anyways. The food industry is about customer service , and he...
Read moreI came to get a hot roast beef sandwich that I have been getting from Jersey Mike's since I was 12 years old. I am now 44. When I asked for a hot roast beef the girl told me they don't make it. I asked since when? She said she worked here 3 years and never have they done that. I responded maybe no one ever asked. Her excuse was we can't put cold food on the grill. I was puzzled. A cheese steak just so happened to be sizzling as we were talking. I said yeah you can cook ot just like your cooking the cheese steak. She said no we never done that it's not aloud. At this point I'm just like forget it. If my money not welcome here I totally understand. What's weird is her saying cold food can't go on the grill where you have a chicken style philly. All the food is cold before going on the grill. Like I said if I'm not welcome I'll just go where I am welcome. Thanks jersey Mike's in in Clark on central Ave near the...
Read moreI stopped by Jersey Mike's today here in Clark to order a hot roast beef sub. When I asked for it they told me they don't put cold cuts on the grill. I am 45 years old and have only been eating Jersey Mike's since 13 years old. I've never heard that. I did not get upset when the young man told me but I do believe this is not right. Roast beef and cheese steak is both beef I do not see what the problem is. Maybe I'm over reacting but this is a crazy. I just figured I'll point it out. I know my one little sandwich is not gonna make them go put of business but I guess my money is no good there. I'm not gonna say don't go to this particular Jersey Mike's here in Clark, but I do feel some way about that. They can't say it's cross contamination because there is different meats cooked on there such as bacon, cheese steak, onions, etc. Definitely sucked because now I have to drive 20 minutes to the next one and boy...
