I arrived at this ârelaxed, laid backâ eatery after a long night at work to meet up with some friends at the bar who had already been there for at least an hour. I understood that it was late and I was not expecting to dine in or even to order anything, for that matter. My friends had been waiting for me to arrive, and when I did, I was shocked and caught off guard when I was yelled at by one of the waitresses who very loudly and rudely asked what I wanted because they were closed. (I walked in just a few minutes before 9PM). I told her I was meeting up with some friends at the bar and she continued to bark loudly from across the restaurant that the kitchen is closed. I proceeded to greet my friends and their bartender, who were all as astonished as I was at the abhorrent treatment I just received. The bartender was surprised and apologetic, but she was certainly not the one at fault. Unfortunately, the situation made everyone who witnessed it very uncomfortable. Sad that one bad apple can ruin the whole bunch. Definitely wonât be coming back here to be treated with...
Read moreWe stopped in here on a Friday night for a quick meal. This location has not kept up and is in need of a makeover. Ceiling has water damage. Areas of restaurant were worn down and needed replacement or repair or had been badly remodeled.
Our server was a bit nervous and we could tell she was new, so I won't include her.
Food wise: we ordered a split tray and three apps: fries were covered with that nasty nacho cheese from a can. Not classy. Calamari was batter dipped, tasteless, and slightly overdone. "Buffalo shrimp" appeared to be overdone butterfly shrimp. They had been fried so long, the breading was dark brown. The breading had no seasoning whatsoever and the plate came with a cup of hot sauce and a cup of blue cheese. This is something I would do at home to make a random food hotwing, not what I would expect from a restaurant. Presentation wise, everything looked as if we were eating at a diner.
Pizza was ok.
Would order takeout trays again, but would not go back for eat in, and if you can't nail a few appetizers, I'd hate to see what the pasta dishes are...
Read moreMy Mom and I arrived after 1 on a Thursday. We opted for the lunch buffet for 10.99. It included several types of square pizza, a decent salad bar, 2 soups, sliced pork, sausage, peppers and onions, roasted potatoes, chicken marsala, penne pasta with vodka sauce, ang eggplant rollatini. Cookies and pudding were dessert options. It was ok for the price. They needed to replenish some of the hot items which they did after I went through. I did not try the soup, however the salad bar had some nice choices like antipasto and marinated mushrooms. I opted for the white tomato and garlic pizza, which other reviewers have enjoyed. It was a good variation of white, garlic pizza. I liked it better than the traditional plain piece. The salad bar was the best quality food in my opinion. The hot items were just okay...nothing noteworthy. Our server was friendly and pleasant and I felt that it was a good value...
