Had almost identical experience as last reviewer, bald unpleasant manager yesterday, new to app ,prepaid online forgot to stop at speake,just spaced it was confused, not a young person,arived and apologized for my mistake and gave the code number as needed,was Embarrassed but passed it , Not.\nOnly did I get a talking to at the st.Window for not stopping the same manager made sure he was the one to hand me my food, delivered my food ,constantly called me Dude explained about what I had done wrong twice.Now,impacting drive thru scores ? I don't even know what this means bit apparently it was earth shattering, And to top it off , without me , even arguing raising a voice making a scene , I was told never to return and I was banned from the restaurant and I would no longer be served, Identify the franchise owner to view the recording and show me how this all happened , The manager said his peace at the first window.It did not need repeating at the second window , I did, however, inform the manager.My name is not dude as I am old , but you may call me , sir , or mister. Since I am banned from the only McDonald's in town.Because of this, I went ahead and deleted my app.And not only will I no longer shop here, I will continue the ban nationwide.I will never step In another McDonald's, and I will make it my life's mission.To ensure that every person I meet.Talk to or am related to Avoids the mcdonald's franchise as a whole. Brand is already struggling. And this cannot be this manager's first complaint. Sincerely lifelong professional restaurateur and Owner and manager of over eleven different restaurants in various chains , Across multiple markets. And it will not end at this review. Read moreAlmost everytime I've gone to Mcdonalds here in Clarkston the experience has been great. This specific day (9/8/23) started out the same. I took my son out as a special treat, he is 10 but still likes the playplace. So we asked the cashier (Alice)if it was open, she kindly let us know that it was about to close. It wasn't that big of a deal though. We sat down in the dining area and waited for our food. When she brought out our food other people with kids started flooding in, so she said since a bunch of other kids were going in then we'd be fine to go in. We figured screw it why not. When we walked into the playplace there was a young gal mopping the floor and she said " just so you know we are closing in 5 minutes" so I informed her of what we were told and her whole attitude changed. The other lady with her kids told me that she (the mopping lady)was counting down like "you have 8 minutes 6 minutes 5 minutes" and so on. I get it being on a timed schedule in fast food sucks but just like every job in customer service unexpected things happen but you have to adjust. Not saying anything about the mopping lady because I understand why she was irritated. Alice had great customer service the mopping lady could use a little work. Read moreI liked nothing about this experience. I understand mistakes we all make them. What was frustrating was driving back for my son's food and not being offered anything to make it right originally. Just "can you drive back from Lewiston to come get the rest of your order?" Which I did. Then I asked for a small mcflurry to make up for him having to wait another 20 minutes after the rest of the family to eat. They said no. I asked politely to speak with a manager and he came up. He told me I could have apple pie but no mcflurry he said he wasn't allowed to comp one. I got my food and exited the drive thru. I went inside and asked to return the happy meal for a refund and was quickly given my money back. No fault of the regular employees. Like I said people make mistakes but no empathy or sense of customer service was present. So I took my 4 dollars and change to Burger king. Got his food and saved almost 2 bucks for the same meal with better meat in the cheese...
