I love Hooters food. Recently, I have discovered that the nachos are the best. Who would have thought Hooters had the bomb Nachos.
I love the wings, but I hate how many kinds they have. It is difficult to get the wings the way you want unless you and the server are on the same page with each other. I still love the curly fries.
I wish Hooters would spend some money on the interior. Seems like every booth seat is ripped. Some people may be hesitant to try Hooters, but the food is great here. The beer is ice cold, and there are plenty of televisions playing every imaginable sport on.
So I returned to the Hooters on Riverside Drive and North 2nd Street in Clarksville Tennessee. Actually, I have returned many times as the food is actually excellent. Google guides is now prompting for update reviews.
The servers are still extremely friendly, the food is surprisingly great and the numerous televisions are always playing some type of sports. The nachos are still the best in town, although Hooters has changed the cheese to a liquid cheese. Fresh shredded cheese just melted is so divine on Nachos, but notwithstanding the liquid cheese, Hooters Nachos are still fantastic. The Original Style Hooter Wings Breaded are my second favorite wings after JP'S Hot Chicken Wings. The booths still feature seats that are ripped with duct tape keeping things together.
There are many food options in Clarksville and Nashville to experience. Sometimes, a cold beer, some delicious hot wings, and awesome curly fries are what fits the culinary needs. Hooters in Clarksville Tennessee should be considered for a food outing when you want some great food.
In June 2024, I revisited Hooters in Clarksville Tennessee. I don't go as often since Harbor Freight closed. If you are considering a visit to Hooters, don't. Hooters was awful.
Hooters previously had excellent food. Perhaps it is the high food prices and/or a lack of experienced employees. Whatever the reasons, the food at Hooters was terrible with one caveat. The TexMex Nachos at Hooters were and still are the bomb. The beloved bone-in breaded wings were inedible. The wings had a barely there sauce. In addition, there were some boneless breaded items that I assumed were chicken included with the bone-in wings. The curly fries lacked any salt and were served lukewarm.
I could go on, but I won't. Hooters was one of the best places to get great food. Now, the food is awful, but the prices were expensive. I have no plans to ever...
Read moreTo start out with our table was a sticky mess so the waitress was ask for a wet dishcloth so we could clean it and after 10 minutes she brought roll of paper towels then another 5 minutes before she brought some spray and then only half cleaned it and said I can't do this so another waitress also hearing her came over and helped clean our table (all of this before even getting our drink order in) then after another 5ish minutes another waitress shows up and takes our drink and food orders which was 2 sodas, 2 sweet teas, 1 half & half tea, and 6 waters after 10 more minutes the drinks came out the dr pepper was diluted and didn't taste like dr pepper at all, the half & half tea was almost clear and tasted like lemonade and another 30 minutes before the fried pickles came out and were cold another 20 minutes the food orders came out which were cold, wrong order, only part of the order, or didn't show up at all so it has been an hour and 20 minutes by this time and some of us still hadn't received our food and drinks had not been refilled so yet another waitress was ask to send our waitress out to refill our drinks that waitress came back stating that she couldn't find her inside the restaurant while the tables around us who ordered food after we did were getting their food then 10 minutes later she shows back up handing out our bills which were full price for food that was not even delivered to the table needless to say after going through 5 waitresses our group was not happy and 7 of the 11 at our table left there hungry because our food wasn't delivered so I give Hooters a very low...

Awesome wings! Manager is great if you respectfully bring your issue to their attention. (They are people too guys.)
Best time to go for less people (Mon - Weds *as long as there are no big games on)
Worst time to go for great customer service at a table (Mon - Weds)
Worst time to go for great customer service at the bar (never)
I visited here 3 times alone and once with a friend. There were less than 10 customers in there each visit. Each time I got wings & fries. (Wings were hot & delicious every time. Had to send the fries back for being lukewarm a couple of times)
Each “eating at the bar” visit was flawless.
Each “sitting at a table” experience was lack luster. (Not all of the servers behave like this.) The one I kept getting would take my order, disappear ( go sit at another guests table and stay there) until the food came out, then I wouldn’t see her again until the check came. Never checked on me. One visit I had to get up from my table, go to the bar, and ask for a refill, silverware, and the check three separate times.
All in all I will keep going back because of the great cooks in the back slinging amazing wings, the awesome friendly service at the bar, and the fact that they are open late.
5 Stars for the bar staff!!!!! 5 stars for the kitchen staff!!!! 5 stars for the manager!!!!! 5 stars for the atmosphere!!!!! 1 star for the server who seems to forget all about me. = 3...
