Waffle House — Restaurant in Clarksville

Bacon, eggs scrambled light w hashbrowns cooked well and toast w gravy. Know I know i have written a few bad reviews of this location. It has been a while and I was craving some awful waffle. I went in and there were only 3 customers. There was the manager, the cook and a waitress. The waitress greeted me as soon as I entered. She was very polite. I sat at the hightop bar since part of the restaurant was closed. I could understand why this time. Only 3 personnel. They took my order and I noticed it was a tad bit warmer than normal. The waitress explained that everyone else had called in due to the ac not working. Anyone who has been to a waffle house knows it is a glass building full of windows. When the ac goes out it is an oven. They were professional polite and I appreciate the fact that they were willing to work in that kind of heat. I gave them a sincere thank you and a decent tip. Riverside rocked this morning. The last time I complained they had 8 people behind the counter empty booths and closed half the restaurant and refused to do take out orders. This was the worst I have ever experienced at this waffle house and me and my family usually go everyweekend, but today was horrible the manager was very rude, I understand it gets busy but he was very unprofessional, he got upset because he had to remake most of our food, and basically forced us to leave, he approached us with a very rude attitude telling us he was not making our food over again he expected us to eat a burnt waffle threating to call police after he came to us with a harsh attitude, I have never experienced this behavior at this waffle house, totally rude that manager should NOT be managing anyone because he doesn't even know how to talk to people and I will be calling the main office as well, I allowed myself to get out of character because someone was mad about having to do thier job, waffle house watch who y'all make managers some can not handle work stress, and take it out on...

This is by far the worst Waffle House I have ever encountered. While we did come in the middle of shift change, we were very understanding to the fact they were out of alot that we were trying to order, we were also having fun with OUR waitress about the situation when a completely different waitress that was off the floor proceeded again to tell us it was shift change and we could just shut up. When I confronted her and told her we were playing. The conversation escalated and while she said I cussed her, that is incorrect bc I don't cuss. She then proceeded to ask me if she needed to clock out and I told her to come to the parking lot if that's what she was insinuating but of course she just kept running her mouth.
