I went into the lobby of this Taco Bell and ordered two cheesy sausage burritos grilled. You notice on my receipt I ordered them at 10:20 a.m. what you don't notice is I didn't receive them until 10:38 a.m. . While I was patiently waiting, I observed the main food preparer had her son there. He was out in the lobby playing on a laptop. I thought, no problem with that. That was until, I presume, the baby sitter came through drive-thru. At which time the food preparer stopped everything she was doing to tell her son to get his jacket on and get ready and argue with him for two or three minutes. And at this point I thought... Well this is why employers don't want employees having their children at the job. Then within two minutes, the babysitter came into the lobby... At which point, the food preparer once again stopped doing her job to address the situation. Once again two or three minutes of customer service ignored. I also noticed, that the cutoff time for breakfast is at 10:30 a.m. ... Makes you think any other time could have been a better time then when the breakfast to lunch changeover is happening. So anyways I get out to my truck and open the rapper only to find the least proportioned cheesy sausage burrito I have ever seen. So I pull around to the drive-through, and when the person told me to go ahead and order when I'm ready, I then told her I would like to speak to a manager. When I get to the window the girl that prepared my food is at the window. I had the burrito sitting on my console just like the picture shows. I say to her as I'm pointing at it, this can't be right. She then, in a stuttering voice tells me, well that's all the eggs we had oh, you going to have to wait for some mo. And no, I did not misspell, that's exactly how it was said to me. I said well how long does that take? She said 10 minutes. So if you follow my review very well, I ordered the first time at 10:20 a.m. and didn't receive my food the first time, for 18 minutes. Which tells me... Bye the time I looked at my food, and went through drive-through to ask to speak to the manager, there could have been two, I repeat, two bags of eggs prepared. Also notice, I asked to speak to the manager when I went through drive-through and didn't speak to a manager. And when she told me that I had, I repeat, I had to wait for eggs to get done, I thought but didn't say, I've already waited for my eggs. She made it seem like it was my fault that they ran out of eggs and shouldn't complain with what she gave me. I also thought, since I have worked in the food and beverage industry for many of years, when you're running short on something, you make up for it with whatever else goes in that item. If she would have added more sausage, well I wouldn't be typing this right now. more time wasted on a Saturday afternoon when I got a honey do list a mile long. This is not the first time I have experienced problems with this particular Taco Bell. It has been about 50/50 satisfaction vs dissatisfaction. Pretty terrible numbers considering the volume of business this Taco Bell does not do. You would think with McDonald's right across the street oh, they would do a better job to try to get 1% of McDonald's customers to come there. 1% sure would make a big overall difference on annual sales. But maybe they don't want...
Read moreUsually service is fine and the workers are nice. This experience on the other hand was one of the worst i’ve had in a long time. We made an online order (paid for it online) and when we got there they asked us if everything on the screen was correct, we said yes and proceeded to pull up to the second window. When we pulled up we were informed that what i ordered wasn’t available anymore (which is completely understandable). We decide to go inside instead of holding up the line. The woman i spoke to was nice and after thinking for a little bit i chose another combo to replace the one i couldn’t get anymore. Turns out that we spent more money than what the replacement meal was worth. The original total (for my combo alone) was a little over 7 dollars and I had everything customized (because i am vegetarian). I expected all of the customizations to stay the same such as replacing the hard shelled taco with a soft taco supreme or whatever they’re called or still giving me extra nacho cheese or sour cream (or at least asking me if id still want them and offering a refund if not). When i got my order i headed out to the car. I had a quick peek in the bag just to make sure i got everything but waited until i got home to eat. They gave me a regular soft taco. The beans were overcooked and dry. I couldn’t eat the crunchwrap either because there was meat and cheese crusted onto the outside (i assume from the cooking area being dirty) i am very upset that i did not get food which i could eat for the price we paid. Today was...
Read moreI just left there with my stepdaughter. I don't normally eat at Taco Bell so I'm pretty unfamiliar with the menu. I let the cashier Amelia know we needed some time to look. She stood at the register listening to us try and figure out what my child wanted to eat. My child was trying to describe a combination of tacos she had at another taco bell to me as I was trying to decipher that and look for it on the menu the cashier Amelia interjected with a scowl on her face, "This isn't Burger King". I'm assuming because of their slogan "Have it your way". Honestly, it wasnt busy, we were the only customers in line. Her displeasure with our unfamiliarality with the menu was really unnecesary. I ignored this rudeness and we ordered our food. While ordering she asked if my child wanted a drink with her meal. I was telling her no because she had a water in the car. My daughter told me she "drinked it" She's only 8 but Amelia then decided to correct her by telling her the correct term was "drank". When she saw the look on my face she finally plastered a smile on and said, "it's just the Mom in me". The tacos were actually very good but they weren't good enough to merit getting my parenting skills insulted and be treated like a nuisance. I suggest Ms. Amelia receive a refresher course in customer...
