Y'all, I love this staff so much! I have never had to order food for a large group before and I was stressed and lost at the same time while we planned our son's 2nd birthday party. When I called to inquire, the manager (I forgot her name) was an absolute doll! She assisted me with efficiency and expertise which alleviated a good chunk of my worry. It came time to pick the food up and my husband had our son in the car. He had to pick up food for 30 people and wouldn't have had enough hands to keep our child safe and carry the food. He called the store and asked if there was anyway they would be able to bring it to the car for him, which they happily agreed. I had not paid for the order yet as it was more tradition to lay when we pick up. A young man called me to verify if we had paid or not and explained he did not want to charge me twice. I let him know that I had not paid yet and asked if he could take the card info over the phone to keep my husband and toddler from having to do it. The young man I spoke to was also efficient and courteous throughout the entire process. OH, and the food was amazing and a big hit at the party. Read moreNormally I would not consider their service to be fast, especially for anything coming off the grill, but my recent visit was absolutely ridiculous. Three subs, two hot and one cold, 45min wait! I know the exact timing because I sent a text just before I ordered. They were busy, but sandwiches were still being made... except mine. I kept seeing other folks coming in after me get their food. While I was sitting there the cashier finally asked "What did you order?" (SMDH) I said "These three subs 40min ago" and then she basically asked if I had gotten any of them. Like shouldn't YOU know the answer to that?! (WTH) So she went to talk to the guy slicing the meat. They literally forgot about the order (which is weird because they have tickets) and the worst part was barely even apologized. The young man adding the condiments gave a quiet, half-hearted sorry for your wait. Sorry for your wait is appropriate for being there beyond like 10min or so. Waiting for 45min should have been more like "we sincerely apologize, here is a free ...", free sub on your next visit, or comping the meal. Super disrespectful of my time. Read moreLove Jersey Mike's food. Tonight I went there and they had a young black man, probably 15 or 16, working the dressing/wrapping station. He had short dreads. I describe him because I didn't catch his name. Anyway, I get a 13 with a lot of things on it....in a wrap. It's a tough roll. He took his time, was very careful and the wrap still ripped on him. He quickly got to fixing it with a new wrap, but then took the same care in making my wrap again. No rush. He got it on the 2nd go. The hole time he was cool, polite to me and his co-workers, and again, he seemed to care about getting it right. The wrap was delicious. Really appreciated that young guys style.
