Came here for lunch during peak lunch hour on President's Day to use my City Saver coupons. Not too busy about 4 tables still available. Server was not very knowledgeable. Sweet tea was ordered even we were advised that it needs to be made. Took our order. Two Korean sides and one soup came shortly. That's it... No more sides. What happened to all the other Korean side dishes?! Food did not come until 25min later. The place wasn't even busy! My udon noodles did not look too appetizing. Staff did not know how to apply my coupon. Over heard that Register was not working right. Should probably give it 2 stars. Nov 2018, They have completed their expansion! Now serving all you can eat BBQ grill! Tried it, loved it! Cost starts at $25.99 per adult ( don't bring kids, if they aren't going to eat/ $16.99). Quality and quantity of meats are exceptional! Loved the friendly helpful staff (singular). Have not personally met Mr. David, the owner, but friends love him! Come early, before seats fill up!

Hi friends and foes ... If y'all ever wanted to eat Grilled Korean BBQ , Jib Bop is the right place to go. This is like a hidden gem... I don't know why I didn't know this place sooner. It's on University Rd in Clarksville Prices are very reasonable. They give you a lot of food. The way they marinated , seasoned and use charcoal grill makes the food taste so perfectly delicious. There are so many kinds of kimchi that taste good every single one of them. Also Tofu soup, truffle corn and Barley tea are my favorite.. . Hand down y'all.. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, the owner came to our table and talked to us.. very professional Highly recommend 👍

0.30 cents worth of food priced at $22.00 that's with toppings. At most actual maybe $3.00 worth of food and that's being generous. I do not recommend at all you will just be disappointed with what you find and wish you didnt, sticky unclean floors wobbly table. Server was great though. Server commented "that they do make the broth" and thats about it. But taste exactly just plain rawmen noodle from Walmart. Which is .30cents individually. Rip off. Go to Kohana Sushi & Ramen instead they make authentic rawmen noodle Consistently offering only the freshest, highest quality fish and ingredients.

Used to be a good place but the service has gotten so terrible. I used to drive 2 hours just to eat here, but I won't be back for a while. The food is bomb but it took me over 30 minutes to get a refill with 4 tables and 2 servers and is a hassle to get the check. The previous trip was similar with slow service. Each time I've waited to be seated, it would take a while (over 5 minutes) for the server to come greet you and take drinks, and even more time to recieve your drinks. If you drink a lot, I recommend asking for 2 or 3 of your drink because refills come slow and the cups are small. I would recommend for take out but not dine in, but from what I see, others also have issues with take out. Ive ordered take out from here and it was fine, though. It seems that the servers think its normal to wait ludicrous amounts of time for food and refills. Food has taken at least 45 minutes to over an hour each time I've been here. As a server, I dont mind waiting a little extra and im extremely lenient with service, but when I come to the same place many times with service issues, I see its more than a bad day. Ive had to ask people who were not my server for the check because my server was either nowhere to be found or whizzed past the table without stopping to check on us. If all ordered food comes out at 30 minutes, I would be genuinely shocked. Refills take forever to get and you basically have to flag someone down and hope they remember. The other time I asked for egg in my cup bop but got cheese instead, which wasn't my taste but I didnt complain. I just wanted an egg and asked the server, but never got it even though I reminded her a couple times. This time, my friends asked for some sauce to eat with their meal a couple times but it finally came after about 15 or 30 minutes and was a single, tiny cup of it. My other friend was unable to eat and the food got cold because they were also waiting on a refill. We asked several times for refills and sat with our food getting cold in front of us because it's hard to eat rice with no drink! In the first round of refills, the server refills the teas but not my water despite it being empty, and never came back to refill the water. This was genuinely the only time I left a bad tip, but I didnt receive something from my order, waited 15+minutes between refills, and waited quite some time on food and nothing was copped. I felt terrible but tips reflect service. Either more help needs to be available for servers or staff needs to be retrained. And whoever is the owner or manager needs to get on that fast, because others are leaving similar reviews and it's affecting business. I used to come here about once a month and order anywhere from $50-$100 worth of food not including tip, but I havent been back since the last experience. Its just no longer worth my time to make such a drive to have to beg staff to properly wait on you. Inconsistencies seem to be an issue as well, and I have noticed. Sometimes my cup bop had more sauce and was delicious. Other times it had less sauce and was dry and flavorless. Sometimes food is more spicy than other times. The consistency issue doesn't concern me as much, since you can always ask for extra sauce if...

OMG! What a phenomenal experience! My wife and I love Korean BBQ. We've been to quite a few at this point, but today was our first time at JibBop it WILL NOT be our last! The place has a really great atmosphere, with many grill table/booths, including some curtained private booths. The grills are great, with good heat control allowing the meat to get that wonderful char that is so important for good K BBQ, but without the risk of overcooking. The sides were varied and all excellent. Their Kimchi is really first rate. Although I could have handled a bit more spice, but it lacked any of the 'butane" smell that so many have They even had a potato salad that would normally seem a bit out of place, but was really quite good! Finally the meat .. The traditional bullgogi appeared quite fresh, whereas at some places it often can be so heavily marinated that it just looks like a gray mass. Here it looked like beef with an oil and green onion marinade. It Looked delicious even before cooking. The pork shoulder with gojujang took on a wonderful smokey BBQ char and was quite good. The thin sliced pork belly crisped up so wonderfully. Lastly, but certainly not least, the thin sliced beef brisket was INCREDIBLE! The best I've had at any KBBQ anywhere. The sauces served with the meats include the traditional salt & oil, a jalapeno & onion, and what they called their 'spicey grill sauce" which didn't seem too spicy, but had a wonderful sweetness that paired SO well with the charred meat The service was also top notch! All of the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. It's often hard to fully appreciate the difference really good service can make on your dining experience, but these gals put it over the top! JibBop may be a 2hr drive for us, but I know we'll be making that trip again soon! If you go, come hungry and ready to leave...

We decided to try out this spot on a Friday night randomly. I will say they do their best with providing a good atmosphere with the limited space they have. The spacing between the tables makes it a little difficult for the waitresses to get through comfortably. The menu was a little confusing at first as it's two separate pages so we thought we were looking at 2 separate menus. The food was honestly delicious which was nice because I was questioning whether or not it would be and I honestly have no complaints about the food except the lemonade was not great and my wife's water tasted weird. I feel like there could be something done with the space to give it a little more life. I would say the biggest negative of the night was the service. To be fair it seemed like only 1 of the 2 waitresses were really working for some reason. But when we asked for a 2nd menu the waitress that was working slammed down another menu on the table and walked away with no words. When we brought up the issue with her she just said she was busy , no real apology for her action just justification for why she did it and you could tell her frustration the whole night as she seemed to be frantic while serving everyone and she didn't check in much with us, we had to get her attention whenever we needed something. While waiting for our food someone came in for an online order which wasn't ready and the explanation was that the online orders weren't automatic , they get sent to an inbox to where the orders have to be put in manually and that inbox wasn't checked often so the order got put in late and this was the explanation from the other waitress who didn't seem to be doing much. I might give this place another try just because the food was actually really good but I definitely think they need work on...
