This was the 2nd time this month a "manager" from 1 store in Clarksville refused to help me from getting sick. She is horrible to me from the start in front of customers behind me.
A rude argumentive bleach blond with black roots "manager" has now denied the slight accommodation at Papa Murphy's Pizza to have employee put new gloves on and use clean brush to spread oil and garlic on my gluten free crust! The 1st time was 5pm and they were busy, even though when this person isn't there, everyone else gets the extra brush for my pizza. She is the only person in 3 stores who refuses to help me from getting sick, which I have on several occasions because of HER cross contamination! Yesterday I was in before 3pm, there were 2 people on the line making 2 pizzas. When guy at register told her I needed a clean brush she rudely said it holds up production line so they were told they didn't "have" to do this. I asked why she wouldn't do it anyway when they weren't busy. This went on for several minutes.
Threatened to call police if I recorded conversation (which is legal in TN in public) and tried to refund my money. I refused to leave without my regular Tuesday night dinner. She claims they aren't a gf restaurant and I should not eat there.
Why do they have a gluten free crust if people like me aren't allowed to eat it? Other ingredients are gluten free. Every other restaurant will accommodate in not cross contaminating my food, including Noodle n Company who use all clean pans and utensils to make my pasta! There are no completely gluten free restaurants but because I have Celiac they are required, BY LAW, to accommodate me and I'm not asking for anything time consuming.
The only way I could get a Pizza was if she made it her way without accommodation for my ADA covered disability for severe food allergy!!! I told her I would be filing another complaint against her and she told me to go ahead. She then left the line completely to call the owner with her "side". I am always nice when I ask for this accommodation, but when I'm treated rudely, I don't respond well! Nobody should put up with this and she needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY and the s5aff trained in cross contamination for ANY one who orders a gf crust.
I go in by 3pm now so I'm not holding up production line, yet she still uses hold up as her excuse. I told her in the time she had been arguing with me and not making ANY pizzas, she could have already accommodated me.
Of course, I'm now starting to feel bad which means I'll be up til the sun rises in agony!
I have now also filed a complaint with the ADA and the BBB and will be calling an attorney tomorrow to see what my options are for them causing me pain and suffering on purpose!!! I would include this girl if I file...
Read moreReally a bummer writing this since I’ve never had a bad visit to any Papa Murphy’s in middle Tn. I went in and ask if I could use a 25% off coupon...she quickly said no. I ordered two salads and two large pizzas totaling $39.00 and pulled out a $100 bill. She then said she doesn’t take $100 bills but there’s nothing posted saying anything. So she ran off and supposedly called the manager and he said no. When was I going to get a yes? Their was a really nice guy “customer”in there that was looking through his wallet and said all he had was $92.00 so I had to swap him that for my $100 bill. So now I’m up To $47 for my food, I had my girls waiting for dinner at home. You would’ve thought they would been just a bit more accommodating since that was all I had...no such luck!
So, corporate Papa Murphy’s called and said I’d get a call from the owners. This never happened, I wasn’t looking for anything but for them acknowledge the situation. There’s too many other places to go and evidently they care nothing about their customers or I...
Read moreI lived in Nashville and went to plenty of papa murphys, this is the worst, I get the Mediterranean chicken, with extra cheese, the first time, the guy decides to put extra feta cheese without asking me which extra cheese I want, normally Im asked what cheese, as there is more then one cheese on this pizza, so he gets a attitude, and I just said , I will pay extra for the other cheese, which he charges 3.75, for a extra topping, at this point, I paid twice for extra cheese, went back the 2nd time, got the same thing, price was right, I told them from beginning, I want extra mix cheese, she thought I was talking about feta, feta already comes on the pizza, so I ges she doesnt know her own ingredients, and called another guy over to help , my god! Its just cheese!! Anyhow, I know they go by measurments , but at this papa murphys be perpared for skimming on ingredients, even if extra, toppings to be like its suppose to be in the very center and if you get thin crust, to taste alot of crust, bc topping just in...
