Burger King — Restaurant in Claymont

I really liked my server at the drive-through window. He was extremely nice and polite so this rating is not for the staff at all. They are always very nice and accommodating. This is strictly for the maintenance of the grill, the grease and any other thing that you are serving.. I came for a double croissant sandwich of ham and bacon. The sandwich was freshly made as it was very early in the morning, and I’m sure they were just opening. The hashbrowns. although cooked to perfection were uneditable because they had yesterday‘s grease taste all over them as a matter of fact, I don’t even know if it was yesterday or the whole week’s worth of Grease….. Made the whole hash brown experience unbearable. I had beautiful hashbrowns and plenty of them and I could not finish them because they tasted very old. I believe I made a review another time when I came early in the morning and got a Double croissant sandwich, but this time it was early in the morning the sandwich was beautifully made to the eye, but when I opened it, it was cold. A breakfast sandwich, should never ever be cold! It felt like they had just put the ham on from the refrigerator and warmed up a croissant in the microwave right quick but not enough. This is a Main St., Philadelphia Pike, which should not have a subpar Burger King as far as food is concerned. I recently visited the Burger King at 2911 Philadelphia Pike in Claymont, DE, and had a great experience. Only giving 1 star cause I have to. This is the worst & most ghetto BK ever! Food was old, except for the "special order" sandwich. Chicken nuggets were hard & the chicken on the chicken sandwiches were even harder! I had to pull forward & wait.....10 mins later I pulled back to the window (a different employee was there) I said how much longer do I have to wait? She said & I quote "Well, We short staffed, So You just gonna have to wait like everyone else!" I said, "excuse Me?" To which I got "Yo, it's done.... hold up a sec!" Then she handed me the bags that were sitting on the counter when I pulled back up. So the food was done but just sitting!? Hmmmm..... wonder if that's part of the reason everything was hard! Once I got to my destination, they messed up the "special order sandwich" anyway, so really what was I waiting for?? (The special order, just so You all know how EASY it was, was Only Ketchup). This experience made Me realize why I don't get "fast" (not that this was fast) food! BK should be embarrassed!...
