I found this place via Upside while looking for local places to try out. I figured to give this place to try. Overall it was okay, but not a place I would look at frequently visiting. It's more of a take-out restaurant than one you'd sit down in. There isn't much of a seating area here so take out will be the preferred option. The location feels a bit sketchy in evening so I might recommend coming here during the day. Again, there isn't much to write about inside as it's just a counter for ordering your food and picking it up and it's pretty plain inside with just a couple seats while you wait. I had the beef teriyaki as well as a spicy tuna roll and a Philadelphia roll. Your teriyaki/hibachi dishes come with a salad as part of the meal and has the rice in one container and the meat and vegetables in the other. The salad was pretty basic though the dressing they give you is pretty good. The teriyaki was pretty good and I did enjoy the vegetables and the rice with it. The beef was nice and tender and decently seasoned and the vegetables were also cooked well and didn't get soggy between picking the order up and getting it back home. The sushi was also pretty good as well. I particularly liked the Philadelphia roll though both rolls were very tasty. Nothing outstanding but very much in line with many places in the area when it comes to sushi. Also the mostly do the basic maki rolls so if that's what you like, this restaurant will hit the spot. If you're looking for sashimi, special rolls or something unique though this might not be the place for you. The only thing I find as the actual downside for me is an odd topic. Namely that the menu and pricing feel odd considering this is a small carry out restaurant. The prices closely match restaurants that do the hibachi/teppanyaki service in front of you and not to much a restaurant that mostly does carry out food. The food itself is good but it feels like a mismatch as I was expecting something closer to a Hibachi Express in terms of the pricing and selection. Is this a good place to pick up something to go? It is and I won't discount it for the food. Is it a place I would be a regular at? Probably not. It's a decent neighborhood restaurant but nothing to go out of the way for.

As a chef, I am very pleased. The first time my 6 year old son and myself have been here. It use to be a regular Chinese take out restaurant with one of those huge menus. They focused instead on a smaller menu, but doing that menu justice. We got sushi, fried rice, and white rice all to perfection. Even the white rice was fluffy, tender, not packed crazy tight into a container. The sushi fresh, flavorful, all the spice just right. Some may miss asain take out standards here, but it's fresher and has more flavor than a 100 item menu. The staff is young, friendly, and you can tell take pride in their product. The sauces you can add to your dishes takes them to another level. You can't get chicken and broccoli, but you will find something that pleases you even more here. Totally, 100% worth a try.

Everything went in the trash. I’m not one to leave bad reviews to ruin someone’s business but this was horrible. The kids wouldn’t even eat. It’s a bunch of young Indian kids cooking the food. That wouldn’t matter to me if it was good. U can find out for yourself if you want.

I gave this place 3 stars because of the sushi it was awesome, I got a spicy tuna roll, the tuna was fresh and vegetables the wasabi was ok I like the pickeld ginger alot.the sushi is the main reason for the 3 stars. I also had a chicken teriyaki platter. It was ok. the teriyaki sauce was watery lacked flavor. the chicken was good real chicken. It also came with vegetables sauteed nicely. The rice was... different it had a sweet taste like they put duck sauce in it or something but all in all I would go again just for sushi. You want to pay for an expensive meal go to the hibachi that cooks in...
