I went through the drive-through on July 2 about 2:30 in the afternoon. There were 3 cars in front of me. I had to wait about 4 minutes before they were able to take my order after I reached the speaker. I got my food quick enough, but once I left the parking lot I realized they gave me a 9 piece chicken fries instead of a number 9 combo. When I pulled back to the store and went inside, there were 4 customers standing around in the lobby waiting for food. There was no one at the cash register. I see three people standing and talking in an office and when one realizes I’m standing at the register with food in my hands, he walks out to see what I need. I explain to him what happened and he doesn’t really seem to care much, but he at least says sorry. He explained to someone what happened and they seemed very confused. They keep looking up at the menu to see what the number 9 is & calls back for a chicken sandwich from the kitchen. After a few minutes, I see her putting an original chicken sandwich in the bag and tries to hand it to me. I say “No, that’s not the number 9. It’s the new Ch’King Deluxe.” She argues & tries to correct me. When she realizes she was wrong she apologizes and calls back to the kitchen for another chicken sandwich. In the process of all of this, one of the customers goes to the register and asks for his money back. He said he’s been waiting 10 minutes for just a whopper. The other customers in the lobby look very upset as well. A young woman comes in to pick up an online order which wasn’t ready yet. After a few more minutes, they bring me my sandwich. I take it out to check it before I leave and they STILL gave me the wrong sandwich. The number 9 is the deluxe and they gave me a plain one… The manager finally comes up and tries to fix it by asking for another sandwich from the back. I told her to just throw lettuce and tomatoes on that one and we’ll call it even. Me trying to order a sandwich in a drive-through turned into a 20 minute ordeal with a very inept staff. By the time I made it back to my car the rest of my food was cold. If I could rate this experience ZERO stars I would. Worst of all; the sandwich wasn’t even that good. The lettuce was even wilted. I’m never one to leave reviews or make comments on places but this was just too bad to not share and warn people about. Oh, and when I left that lady was still waiting for her...
Read moreThis is normally our go-to! However, recently this location has been going down hill rapidly! We arrived on a Tuesday late afternoon by 5 p.m. and there was five customers total in th building. No one in the play area. We came to check out the new 'How to Train Your Dragon," combos. Sadly, we were gravely disappointed ☹️. I strongly encourage you to save your money. We bought a kids nugget meal($4.59) and the Red Bun Flaming Grill Whopper Meal($11.29). The representative that took our order was constantly drifting off in space, little to no eye contact(unless he rolled them or sighed deeply). If you work in a customer service field and are the first impression when someone comes in, you may want to take all that into consideration in regards to staffing and positions. Although, we do live in a world that is constantly dealing with short staffing. He acted in words and actions as if he would rather walk out the door than take our order. Then when we received our "To Go," meal, that was actually "Eat In," we rolled with it! Minor mishaps happen! We headed to the play area. No one was present in the play area the entire time we ate our meal in approximately 30 minutes or more. And the play area was still empty, and extremely dirty. In the restaurant, attendance was workers and 2 adults eating. The nugget meal with fries, was warm and okay(consisted of a black hair in fries) which found its way in the trash! The medium combo with Red Bun Flame Grill Whopper was terrible. Bun tasted plain(although it boasts of having natural veggies), burger looked like "Mystery Meat," and tasted bland even with sauce, condiments etc. warm to touch. The onion rings were less than half full for medium and ICE cold. Many individuals will read this and question why I tried the combo, or why I didn't take it back in order to receive different food. My answer to that regretfully as a reviewer is relatively negative because of asking for "Fresh," meals gives way to "Bad Things," happening to my new food(I will not list in this post). With previous bad experiences, I've learned to try, review and not return. But this is...
Read moreI have stopped at this location about a dozen times since 2017. Never had any trouble until the other day using the Burger King app. It was a horrible experience I won't even go into detail. Update December 2022 no one is regulating the Heat or air in the play area it is so hot in there it is ridiculous even now that it is winter time it is stifling inside the tubes for the children there's not enough air flow as people should have enough sense to know heat rises it was 83° when we walked in there and even hotter than that in the tubes and up top. Not to mention the staff how can they let somebody have fingernails three or four inches long who can't even punch buttons on the machine for your order he has to use his knuckles or either his folded finger don't get me started on the dress code they allow them to wear their own personal items over top of their clothes listening to music headphones hanging around their neck instead of using them on their ears to take orders. They rarely clean inside the play area I know this for a fact because the same chicken nuggets were on the inside of the cage for 5 weeks on the floor. A sticky spot on that same floor was there for almost 6 weeks and was not clean in the main walking area of the playroom. It is a terrible Burger King for service and customer service and friendliness lack of professionalism etc etc I believe that's why a lot of parents don't go there to use that gigantic play area because of the staff that work there. I wish corporate would come in and check out the store on any given day. Not to mention there's some leaks in the building in the play area nobody has paid attention to. I could go on and on Burger King this location and the one in Nashville North Carolina is horrible. Update June 2023 even...
