Ordered a pizza for delivery and never received it. We called the store due to the tracker reporting it having been delivered. The store manager told my girlfriend he had called me 3 times but my phone never rang nor was there any history of receiving calls on my phone. He stated that the person delivering came in my building and knocked on the door but there was never a knock. He then proceeded to call my girlfriend a liar. We called back a couple minutes later to get the phone number of the district manager, the store manager yelled, "That's never going to happen!" and hung up on us. Miserable service from whoever that guy was, he never even bothered to tell us his name. I do not appreciate being yelled at, called a liar, and being hung up on. All I wanted was to use my rewards points on a free pizza but that is apparently too much to ask. We will not be supporting this location anymore.
The store manager (a man) cancelled our order, called my boyfriend and I liars, and hung up on us. We ordered a pizza and waited and hour and a half for it, then I called and asked about it. It said it was completed online. He let us know that the delivery person came to our door, knocked, and they called us MULTIPLE TIMES. We have no note, no record of phone calls from them, and nobody ever came to our door. The manager proceeded to tell me I was a liar and that he did call, and shouted at me because someone had let the delivery person in. It clearly wasn't us. They closed our order without our knowledge. When I asked for HIS bosses name, he told me "not gonna happen." He then hung up on me. This is beyond rude, disrespectful, incompetent, and more. I am absolutely disgusted with this man and their service. I am even more disgusted with his manners and the way we were treated. If he really is the store manager, he should be fired immediately. After looking for your corporate number, we found MULTIPLE reviews for this restaurant, talking about this man and how exceptionally disrespectful he was, and how he was disgustingly rude. I will never be spending money at this location ever again. That may not seem like a problem to a million dollar company. But from now on, every. Single. Person. To ever ask me about Papa John's will know about the dissatisfaction I received, along with me spreading it like wild fire on social media. I hope this manager is reprimanded and punished, and ultimately fired. Failure to do this, is a failure as a company in while for hiring such incompetent employees, let alone managers. Disgusting Sincerely, An extremely disgruntled and unenthused...
Read moreI'll be honest I love Papa John's pizza but I will say I'm not one to deal with bad customer service. A) The app states a zestySpicy Italian Sausage , Banana Peppers, Italian Salami, Pepperoni , Three Cheese Blend. When it arrived it was Italian Sausage , JALAPENO!! Peppers, Italian Salami, Pepperoni , Three Cheese Blend. I ordered 5 pizzas no big deal I only wanted to call to notify them somehow something went wrong. I wasnt calling for a free pizza we have five pizzas and two was messed up, and my kids will make it work. When I called "Employee" Sanchez answered the phone i went through their prompts of address and phone number even though I already ordered I was patient enough to allow them to do their job, also just incase they needed the info to connect the order, i then notified Sanchez that i just ordered and had two pizzas that were messed up, that the pizzas had Jalapenos, instead of banana peppers and I wasnt sure how you guys mixed the two up. I got an attitude with so much undertone my 10 year old looked at me in shock noticing how rude the employee answering the phone was, when they stated well excuse me but I didnt make your pizza I'll get you a manager. I do realize that by stating I dont know how you guys mixed the two up it asserts a bit of blame on all parties, but regardless i still had a pleasant tone up to that point. Now after the tone from this employee when the manager got on the phone obviously I was quite frustrated and took it out on him. I will say he handled himself quite well and kindly asked me to not curse and he was trying to help. I did calm down realizing he was kind and doing his job politely even though I was now reaming him a new one. When i should have aimed that towards the employee answering the phone. We went over the order and what he has on his menu vs what the App states is on the pizza and figured out that the App stated something different I read all five pizzas ingredients off of my emailed receipt just to be certain. I will say good pizza great manager, but Dirty Sanchez needs to take some classes on how to hate their job quietly without upsetting a customer.. FYI Sanchez you work there if there was a mistake own it to the customer apologize, get management and take it out on the cook, or in this case corporate for changing specialty pizzas in store vs the app... I will say regardless of if I enjoy the pizza I will no longer order from this specific location. I've now boycotted both the Wal-mart and the Papa John's closest...
Read moreNormally Papa Johns is my go to pizza place, not after today. I placed an online order for 1 xl pizza, 1 large pizza, 1 cheese stick, 1 bone in wing, 1 boneless, and a 2 liter. Even tipped $15 delivery for a 3 mile drive. Apparently Papa Johns now outsources delivery through Door Dash. Our driver showed up and was very nice, advised us she was given two items only by a young girl at the counter. The driver advised she inquired about only 2 small items (bone in and boneless chicken) due to the purchase price vs the amount of food. Young employee told her it was the full order. The door dash driver was nice enough to sit in our driveway while I called the store and even offered to go back once we verified the store had our food. I called the store and spoke to a woman who sounded younger, advised of the problem and was met with "i just can't help you, talk to my manager" and placed me on hold. When the manager finally answered I had to tell the manager the situation again because the first associate did not share the situation. The manager responded with "sorry sir she is only 14". Poor customer service isn't a reflection of age, it is a reflection of poor training and management/supervision. The manager advised they would remake the food we never got then deliver. When the missing items finally arrived they were barely warm, likely indicating they were the original items and not the remake which I guess fits in with the now cold first two items we received to eat with our...
