Cafe Attaleia - Englewood — Restaurant in Clayton

The wife and I have been coming here since it was Cafe Bliss. The service and food quality has always been amazing. They recently did an overhaul on the interior and it looks great! Their Simit is always a good way to start my days and their Turkish sausage is 🤌🏽. We try to bring friends with us when we go because more people have to know about this gem. This last time I got a menemen, a traditional Turkish dish that includes: eggs, peppers, tomatoes, spices and (in my case) Turkish sausage because once again...that sausage is fantastic! Their cardamon latte is my favorite coffee drink.

Overall, this is a fantastic place to come, and is close enough to American cuisine (in description) that you can bring friends who are picky eaters, BUT the flavors are on an entirely different level. It's a great way to turn picky eaters into more...

This is a nice brunch/lunch spot that's a little bit different than your regular spots. It has French toast, waffles, crepes, lattes, but the best part is the Turkish brunch. My toddler liked everything she ate, especially the smoothie, but she isn't very picky like some other kids. The inside of the shop has nice seating. It looks like the front/menu/display area is still being worked on, but I imagine it will look nice in time given that Terra Cafe is so beautiful inside too. The service is as fast as it can be with only one server, which I wouldn't expect more since there was only 1 other party there when we came in at 11am on a Sunday. Dont waste your time coming here. The menu and pictures are a lie. I went there today and the menu that was given to me was not a breakfast or even a brunch menu. There were 2 people working and pretty much ignored us. Was told they only had water and coffee yet there was a coke machine across from us. We settled on blue berry pancakes, that was a joke. Given no butter so it was so so dry to eat and very little syrup. My husband order some turkish breakfast and he was served in correct food. I asked for scrambled eggs and instead it come out flipped over like a omelette. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Menu online is a lie, coffee was not good and food was not good.
