I have never been treated as poorly as I was today at any other local business. My husband and I walked into this establishment as I had noticed it multiple times when we were in the area and I wanted to try it. We walked in and waited at the front for at least 5 minutes while we were not greeted or acknowledged. We are not difficult people so our initial thought was hey they’re probably just really busy. A young lady with her headphones in came to the front cash register right in front of us messing with the iPads and still did not greet us or make eye contact. I finally said hi are you all accepting orders and her response was “yea”. We continued to wait and she finally said “ok” and threw her hands up as if we were bothering her. I usually frequent Venero’s for pizza, but wanted to give this business a try. I truly regret it. I would give them a negative 5 stars if I could. Will continue to go to Venero’s pizza where the customer service is much better. I would not recommend. Please train your employees to have better...
Read moreI can't say anything about the service or atmosphere because I tried them out on door dash. I just moved to Garner from Raleigh and have been trying out different local pizza places. I actually intentionally picked this spot because a lot of people mentioned the sweetness of their sauce in their reviews. I LOVED it. I grew up with a German father who always threw a little extra sugar into his red sauce and this pizza sauce brought me back to my childhood with just one bite. Not only that but I tried something outside of my comfort zone, The Dante's Peak specialty pizza - I'm a carnivore who prefers veggie pizza, but this particular pizza was a killer combo of meat and veggies!! The banana peppers gave the perfect balance of sweet acidity to the saltiness of the pepperoni and sausage. And of course I loved the sauce. They coated it with toppings and the crust was a perfect balance of fluffy and crunchy. I am SO pleased and full. I couldn't be happier with this choice and will be a...
Read moreTook them up on their generous offer of a free pizza and we love it! I added a house salad to the order and it was packed with fresh vegetables and the tomatoes tasted homegrown akin to an heirloom. Delicious. My kids are usually super picky eaters. Even when it comes to pizza and they powered the pizza asking for more. We will definitely be back for more. Friendly customer service and super welcoming. Thank you for the pizza. Additionally, the sauce is semi sweet. But they do use h California sweet tomatoes… coming from being a native of California (I grew up there), I can say that I truly appreciate a good tomato when I find one. I think we have all gotten so used to under ripe tomatoes used on pizzas these days that some cannot appreciate when a ripe and juicy sweet tomato is used. I’d consider Romeo’s to be extremely authentic when it comes to the sauce used. Quality at its...
