First time coming here and I was not impressed. I wasn’t really sure what the place was all about so I thought I’d stop by tonight (1/19/22) to find out. I have been looking forward to seeing this store for quite a while now. Upon entering, we were not greeted at all by the employee. He was busy chatting to two patrons and they were having a good time, seemingly ignoring us. We stood around like morons for a few minutes but eventually decided to just leave. Not to mention, the prices on the beers were definitely on the high end. I’m not sure what the process is of buying them. It looked like it was mix and match, but I didn’t have a chance to ask questions. Super unimpressed. Tldr rude no mask UPDATE. Went from 2 to one star. Apparently your idea of customer service is to tell me eleven months later that I am a troll and picking on your business. Also that you didn't follow the law because it wasn't being enforced. I also LOVED the heartfelt "sorry you were offended." Do yourselves a favor buy the same stuff at total wine for less.

Original review Went in primarily looking for cases of common and unusual beer. Would have spent more time looking around until employee(owner?) asked what I was looking for. His dismissal of the common beer I was looking for for my friends and general attitude plus antimask vibe made me not even mention the stuff I might have looked for...

I tell ya…I stopped in Clayton Beverage the other day and to my surprise, they now serve liquor and wine!! What a fabulous addition to an already rockin place that has great servers, darts and at least 5 tv’s. They still have beer on tap as well as a great selection of bottle beers…and some cans as well. The liquor selection is really good and for the wine too. The owner is a great guy and real friendly. I know I will be there more and more in the upcoming future.
