Went in right after church with some friends today ( 4 of us) and overall we all had a bad experience- I was appalled at how my friends were treated back to back, especially because I was the one that recommended them this specific Bojangles! Upsetting to say that this was all from the Hispanic manager who gave us the food- I wasn't able to get her name, when asked she gave us the other managers name but not her own. (This was all around 1pm, 10/27)
First, one of my friends was missing his fries with his 4 piece supreme dinner, and when he went back to go ask her for the missing fries he was denied and told his meal didn't come with it? (He quite literally showed them the picture up on the menu behind her that they do indeed come with fries).
Then, one of my other friends had asked them about the bo-berry biscuit after paying (since they didnt give it to her) and, I kid you not, was told that it was to busy to grab one for her? When showed the receipt of purchase, they ended up giving a stale one in which she then asked for a fresh one. Seems petty, but she was given a fresh one, just without the icing which she then had to ask AGAIN for them to put some one.
Then there was the third friend. She ordered a chicken sandwich and, I'm not kidding when I say, the fried part of the chicken was PINK. Fried chicken is brown, how did they achieve to make it pink... my two girl friends went up (once again) to ask for another one instead and once up at the counter my friend heard the hispanic manager say to another coworker (again, I kid you not), "Here she comes again." which was extremely rude. Yes, we've come back about 4 times now because our meals were either missing something or stale. My friend ended up exchanging her chicken sandwich for some chicken tenders instead to be on the safe side.
The third friend also ordered a cinnamon twist. Was stale of course- she struggled to bite through the thing. We did not go up about this one as we had given up, all of our food and especially our appetite was ruined.
As a last note all of our meals were prepared and put together by the hispanic manager - her and her alone. We all lost our appetite when it was supposed to be a get together lunch where we could discuss our next bible study topic. To say the least, we left very...
Read moreWhen I arrived at this Bojangles, there was a young lady in the parking lot taking orders. When she got to my car, she rudely asked me what I would like, and as soon as I began to speak loudly began talking to someone through her headset and just walked away. A few moments later, she came back and said "Now, what you say?". I proceeded with my order, which she then repeated back incorrectly twice, first getting the size of my side item wrong, and then not communicating request for no ice in the drinks. After I corrected her, she still only communicated the correction to the size of the side item, did not give me a total, and simply walked away.
After several minutes of waiting in the hellishly long line, I arrived at the window to be greeted by a woman who looked less than pleased to see me. She gave me my total, swiped my card, and then passed my food out to me, followed by a single drink, which was DRENCHED in cola, and more ice than cola. Seeing as I had ordered two drinks, I asked for my second drink. She sighed, asked the person filling drinks next to her for another cola. After a few moments, she thrust yet another sopping wet cup out the window at me without so much as a thank you or come and see us again.
Bojangles, get it together. I know you can do better than this, I know you can hire employees who aren't jerks. I worked in the fast food industry for quite some time, and I know the pay isn't great, but you are the face of the company. When your face tells me you aren't happy to see me or don't want me there, your face is, to me, a representation of the company for which you work.
So thanks again for the less than awesome experience. I'll not be returning to this Bojangles ever again, and it will be quite some time before I try a...
Read moreI have been going to this Bojangles for the last 20 years. they used to be very good, but over the last 3 years the quality of the service and food has suffered. last saturday we went there, ordered a family variety feast . First issue was the cashier who you could barely hear and then her english was so bad she needed a translator, then the manager or someone acting like a boss couldnt answer a question about paying extra to exchange 2 chicken thighs for 2 breasts . she said we never do that even though we have usually paid a surcharge for it in the store and its also on grubhub which we order from too. we gey home and the 2 fries are cold and have no flavor. luckily we have a microwave and buy the bojangles seasoning online . but then the mac and cheese had no flavor, the chicken tenders were overcooked and the regular chicken was undercooked and again no seasoning. the tea was good, but they need to hire some older people who know what they are doing before the ones there end up running all the customers away. we had stopped ordering bojangles from grubhub awhile back because the store would leave out food and they do it in person too but at least we could check the order before we left, but just too many times having to drive back there to get what they left out and now this visit was the nail in the coffin, fast food places need to understand there are many other places local that sell chicken and provide a hell of a lot...
