Starbucks — Restaurant in Clayton

The staff at this location is consistently very friendly. I am docking a star however due to their new curbside pick up. Normally I go through the drive thru to pick up my order but this morning the line literally was not moving. While waiting in line I noticed the curbside pickup option and decided to try that. I pulled into space 2 and checked in. I got confirmation of the check in on the app. Then I just sat there watching through the window my coffee sit there on the counter...while person after person went in and grabbed their stuff, looking at and sometimes handling mine in the process. After 6-7 minutes I decided to call and ask for my food to be brought out as I couldn’t stand the thought of my coffee sitting there getting colder and colder. I couldn’t go in as I didn’t have a mask on me (this was a spontaneous Starbucks stop). The person who brought it out was very friendly. And my coffee was good, but not very hot. I’m not sure if there was a glitch in the system, if the employees didn’t notice however they get notified that I was there, or if I just needed to wait longer even though my drink was long done...but I don’t think I will ever do the curbside pickup again. Starbucks is too expensive to end up with...

I am a cold brew, every single day no deviations kind of person and once I find something I like I stick with it for months sometimes even years at a time I have been going here since I moved to Clayton for almost a year now and I love everything about it every time I go in they tell me good morning. They smile it’s always clean. They’re busy but not too busy to tell you good morning And what really took the cake was this morning they had my drink sit close to the door with a straw because I always grab a straw in the morning and it made me feel seen and it made my Tuesday morning even better because I realized that I fit into someone else’s routine I’m not sure of all the girls names. I’m typically a mobile order only which made it even more special they only knew my name and a five seconds of me being in there, but they still recognize my pattern and made me feel special. I also one time got a coffee from here with hello Kitty drawn on it and it made my day. I showed everyone at work all day long. That’s all I could talk about. Please send my praises to this entire locations team. I have never had a bad experience, no matter what...

This is the best Starbucks out of the two I am familiar with off of 70. What I love about this one is that it is not like the one in White Oak. You dont have to tell them how many pumps to put it. They make it great from the start. The employees are really friendly. This visit we had a chance to go inside. To quote my 3 year old son "Wow. This place is beautiful". It was very clean and the lighting was amazing. Now itst not as big as the Starbucks in Crossroads in Cary but it is a really nice size. I didnt feel bad because i brought my 4 kids in to enjoy the experience. I didnt feel like i was irritating the people in there like i have felt at the starbucks downtown. Even though it was close quarters it was a very inviting atmosphere. I had the peppermint white chocolate mocha which was wonderful. Just the right amount of peppermint. While my children had their children's chocolate chip drink. It looked really good. Next time i will get try it. For snacks we had everything from the salt and vinegar kettle chips to the chocolate pastry. Everything was good. My experience was all around great. Great service, drink/food...
