Decent food for a little over what I feel it's worth (what's pictured came with soup and salad). -- The house soup's broth is very good. The Sushi + Sashimi was fairly fresh, but basic, I didn't taste any wasabi under the fish or soysauce glaze on it. I wish it came from the kitchen how it's recommended to be eaten by the chef rather than having to dress it myself with the horribly bland "wasabi" they offered.--I'm open to really see some creativity. Pickled ginger didn't taste great either. The tuna was disappointingly lean for the whole thing being circa $36. Could altogether get better looking plates and skip out on the leaves and carrot shavings under the sashimi. Carrots have nothing to do with this dish I felt bad for leaving it on the plate and it going to waste. Staff's very friendly and patient. I wish they didn't sing happy birthday to fully grown adults, since there were two in one night across the restaurant and completely interrupted our conversations worsening the quality of our dinner.

We celebrated Mother’s Day dinner at Kobe with at least 10 people. Our waitress (Christina) was super nice 😊 We actually had a personal problem, my brother spilled water in his son’s plate and ruined the whole plate. We were the last people in the whole establishment and they were already cleaning up ready to go but as soon as Christina realized what happened she spoke to her manager (Suki) who personally made a whole new plate with the correct order in the kitchen and packed it up for my nephew. I was amazed and very impressed with the service. I definitely would highly recommend this location and don’t be scared to tell them any problems you have because they will do their best to resolve it. We all walked out of there super happy. Oh and the guy making our food in front of us ( Tony) he was so funny lol he kept us laughing and cooked the food well! We will definitely return for another celebration 😌♥️🤎☺️

Second time here in 10 yrs and just didn’t have the same good vibes. We ordered the 2 for $60 dinner. The crab region was great. I was not a fan of the soup because full of mushrooms. The plate was too small for portions that were too excessive. I didn’t like that they lightly grill a medium onion in large chunky pieces. It’s pretty much raw, just warmed up. I don’t like carrots, peas or broccoli and they did not use any cabbage or bean sprouts that I could have used as a substitution. I wish the chef would ask about preference before dumping veggies in rice. The food was seasoned with a lot of soy sauce and salt n pepper. Large portion of shrimp, beef and chicken. I would need to sit there all night to eat all of the food. And I took home my leftovers but scrapped because the food just wasn’t that tasty.

Ordered 64.00 worth of food from here after being put on hold for over 10 minutes and had to call backing another phone and they answered and asked me to hold on as they talked to other customers and I waited another 4 minutes... finally she come back to me and took my order. Asked my last name and told her. She repeated my order and told me my price and asked my last name again and I told her again. Was told 40 to 45 minutes. When my husband got there he asked for our order and was told they don’t have an order for us... asked if it could be under another name and he gave my first name. They told my husband they had an order for someone that had a name similar to my first name so he said yes that must be it.. ( my husband didn’t know what we ordered but was just asked to go pick it up) The rude lady came out screaming a name that was on the order and asked my son what was in the order and was that it he said yes ( not knowing what we even ordered but knew he ordered chicken ) They paid and left... once home we had a completely different order than what I had ordered. I called and the rude lady said she couldn’t come deliver our order cause she already knew they screwed up and found our order after my husband left. I asked them to bring it out to us because we live 20 minutes away and already went there once and they said no order for our last name. I told the lady I want a refund in full because we don’t eat sushi and the other stuff in there. She told us we can bring the food back and get our order and pay the difference. I said no it’s been an hour and a half now since I ordered. Then the manager said he would bring my order out and pick up the wrong order.... I agreed but then they called wanting my credit card number for the price difference and I said NO .... are you kidding me ? I have no food and it’s now gonna be 2 hours because you screwed up and now you want me to pay for the food that will be cold and over 2 hours since I delivered. AND WHAT WERE THEY GOING TO DO WITH THE FOOD THEY GAVE ME ? Resell it ?? During COVID ?? I never heard of anything like that in my life. The money should have been refunded or a credit given as we were not going to eat til 8pm now. They are so RUDE there and I knew this before but figured I would try again but clearly these people are just rude and incompetent !! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. THEY WANTED THE FOOD BACK THAT WE BROUGHT HOME AND OPENED ... IS THAT LEGAL ? I don’t want food from these people and we are out 45.00 because they are so cheap and incompetent.... WONT EVER EAT OR ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN. BE CAREFUL YOU MAY GET GOOD THAT WAS ALREADY SENT TO ANOTHER...

Let me preface by saying I have celiac disease which means I have to eat gluten free. So I started by telling the waitress that I had a gluten allergy and that my food needed to be cooked in the back. She then told me that I was wrong and my food could be cooked out on the grill with everyone else’s and I then told her no that I will get sick if they mix my food with everyone else’s. Also, I specifically told her no soy sauce, mushroom, or teriyaki sauce which took a few minutes due to her not taking my allergy seriously. Eventually she listened but this started me off very annoyed because someone tried to invalidate my allergy and tell me how to order my food. Then after we ordered, I waited for a little over and hour for my food and the rest of my family had already finished there’s and we paid by the time I got my food in a to go box. Which I ordered to go because it was the end of dinner when I found out my food was not even being prepared yet. Therefore I took my food home because I was mad about how long it took and I wanted nothing other than to get out of there. With that being said upon receiving my order I did not check to see if it was right, I just took it and left. And when I got home I quickly realized after having my brother try the food that it was wrong and that it had soy sauce, mushrooms, and teriyaki sauce on it. This was the last straw for me, I was already down with that place but this really sent me over the edge because all I wanted was dinner but I couldn’t have it because they didn’t listen to my allergy. My poor grandma wasted $20 on this meal and I don’t even get to eat it. I’m incredibly disappointed, hurt, and I feel like my worth as someone who hasn’t to eat special has been diminished. I cannot believe that someone can be so ignorant, I am truly in shock at how horrible my experience there was. It feels great to be treated differently for something you can’t even control. Thank you Kobe for such a memorable experience, never ever going back there again. If i could do 0/5...

Highly do not recommend this place. We have lived here for 10 years now and have eaten at Kobe multiple times but this LAST time we walked out saying we’re never going back. My mom and I walked in the front doors of this place and wanted to turn around and walk out because of the way it smelled in the entrance. But we were hungry and it was getting late. We got sat down at about 8pm at the grill after the hostess said there was no wait. My mom and I sat at the grill and watched the other side get cooked for, eat their meals and pack their food togo before we even got asked what we were drinking. We’re sitting, looking around and finally got asked if someone had gotten our drinks. She gets us water. About 15 mins later a different server came and took our order and then we waited another 15 mins for our soups and salads. It was just the two of us at the grill and when the cook came out he put down the little bowls for yum yum sauce and they were all dirty. The cook noticed that and gave us new ones immediately and had to wipe the table for us because they were that dirty. Forgot to note that the plate and napkin I sat down at were dirty as-well. Our server came and checked on us a few times but when it was time for togo boxes he was no where to be found so the old lady busser noticed us looking around and gave us boxes and a bag. My mom and I both had gotten shrimp and steak hibachi. The steak and rice was good. The shrimp had a real fishy taste to it. We received so much food, we took it togo and the leftovers are ruined because of how gross the shrimp is. I had an upset stomach and diarrhea before I went to sleep. (sorry for TMI) Terrible service, a stinky sticky entrance/dinning room, a 40 min wait, both of us had upset stomachs, all for a few bites of rice, and a bunch of gross leftovers. Definitely was not worth spending $55 dollars on dinner for...
