Sunday afternoon at 3pm. Very few cars in parking lot, and only two tables with customers. Not the best vibes to begin. Ordered carnitas tacos, elote, and a wife ordered a chicken burrito. The chips and salsa came to the table all shiny like they had just come out of the fryer, and we thought, "these look good". They were cold, hard and stale, like they were yesterday's chips. The salsa was hands down the lamest salsa I have ever had. Like a tomato juice, only tomato juice has more flavor. When I asked for some fresh chips, the waitress came back with chips that looked the same, only warmer. They were still rock hard, I suspect they took a handful of yesterday's chips and dropped them in the fryer again. Terrible. I got a margarita (good!), we ordered a chardonnay for my wife. The third time we asked about the chardonnay, we had to explain to the waitress that it was WINE. "Oh, we don't have any wine." Obvious language problems in the front of house. The tacos had a good flavor, but the meat was old, I'm thinking Saturday's food once again. The elote was so soggy and waterlogged, I could imagine the corn floating around in hot water for a loooong time. Way overcooked. The chicken burrito was the only decent thing that was brought to the table. It came with flavorless refried beans, and rice. One star for the burrito, and one for...
Read moreThey have the best service ever, the people are kind and nice, and their food is cooked to perfection. My favorite, Chile Relleno 😋, it has the perfect amount of spice, the sauce ; incredible, the breading, perfect and professionally done, the actual peppers, picked at the peak of freshness, and the most palatable cheese I've ever Eaten in a Chile relleno. You get 2 for each order, not to mention the incredible pricing, the place is very clean, there are lots of options of food, sometimes they take longer but it’s usually pretty fast! Unless they are currently cooking up a new batch it won’t take long, sometimes they run out and you have to wait a bit longer, either way the wait is so worth it. I highly recommend this place, you will not be...
Read moreCarne asada burrito cooked with lettuce inside. Making lettuce soggy and wilted. Barely any meat which was actually that frozen chopped up meat people make steakums from. The cheese in the middle was… mozzarella? Queso dip is BRIGHT orange! Kind of like an orange paint texture. Chip basket half full. Steak fajitas: lotsa veggies some steakum meat. Sour cream: charged $1.25 per tiny side of sour cream. Service: one worker. Waitress was the cook. Sad. I’m so sad. Mexican food is a life staple. $90 down the drain. Husband made us take food home in boxes so we didn’t hurt waitress/cooks feelings. Donated boxed food to local street dwellers. Sad. So sad. Atmosphere: clean and spacious. Sad. Sad face all around....
