I totally get that we’re in a pandemic. However, being high risk, I should NOT be going into a public place unless I have to. That being said, this place would NOT DELIVER to me because my order was under $15. I literally live a minute down the street from them. I’m single. I can’t eat $15 worth of takeout and I’m not going to order food that I will throw away. It wouldn’t have cost them anything to deliver and protect me. I would’ve taken very good care of the driver, being that I’m IN the food industry and I understand. Then, when I went to pick it up, they rounded up and kept my change and wouldn’t give me a receipt. I asked. It was refused and I was informed that THEY needed the receipt for THEIR records. Really? Since when? I’ve NEVER heard of such a thing unless they reprinted the receipt for the guest. THE GUEST ALWAYS GETS A RECEIPT IF THEY WANT ONE! I got home and started eating it. Instead of the normal veggies that are typically in any shrimp lo mein I’ve ever gotten there or any Chinese restaurant, they put sautéed onions, LETTUCE, and MUSHROOMS in it!!! They’re RIGHT BESIDE THE GROCERY STORE!! Not only that, but they only put HALF of the normal amount of shrimp in it also. I’m completely disgusted with them!! They cheated me in every way possible on ONE SIMPLE ORDER!! THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL WASTE!!!! This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues here, but kept my mouth shut. Shame on me for being nice. Do yourself a favor and stay away...
Read moreUpdate... This place makes everything from scratch!! Their wontons, egg rolls and everything else is made in house and you can taste the difference!! We had a feeling that they did because all of their food is amazing!! Their prices are comparable to other Chinese delivery restaurants too. The staff is professional and polite and we have NEVER had a problem with a delivery not being correct. I see so many reviews giving 1 star with a really petty excuse. Please scroll past these ridiculous reviews. They deliver for free and yes there is a minimum order requirement, but what restaurant these days doesn't? There's always a minimum.
My husband and I absolutely love Chinese food and when we tried Wok Out's delivery, we were not disappointed. The food is always super hot and it stays hot for a long time. We usually order egg rolls, pork fried rice, chicken lo mein, steamed broccoli and their won ton soup. Their food is so great, the portions are huge and we rarely have leftovers. We recently tried another establishment because Wok Out was closed (on Tuesdays they are closed) and we were so disappointed. Everything we ordered was so far below Wok Out's quality and taste, even down to the free fried wontons. If you love Chinese food, this is the place...
Read moreI must say that I am a lover of Chinese food from all over and also respect the small take out places that are generally people from Fujian.
Today July 29th it was raining and I thought to stop and get some Chinese take out. The young lady at the counter could not have been ruder and more impatient with me.
I speak Chinese and 3 dialects of Chinese. One of which she said she speaks. Mandarin. The national language of China
She dismissed me and acted as if I was some nobody
I will never patronize this restaurant ever again By the way I went across the street to China 99 and my experience there was the total opposite The owner also from Fujian was so nice and enjoyable
I am so sorry to do this review as I am sympathetic to small businesses and especially Chinese take outs but they deserve and get low marks. Get rid of this counter woman who is maybe the daughter or friend of the owners but she will and is killing your business I can only imagine how she...
