When I was a kid, I worked in a donut store and eventually was trained to make donuts. Old-school, from scratch. Traditional recipes with hand dipped excellent chocolate, etc.
Apple, fritters, that were made with real dough, real apple chunks, etc.
Thatās what this place is. People go to Dunkinā Donuts pretty much for coffee these days. The donuts at this place are far superior.
Very old-school. Very traditional. Almost identical to the donuts that we made years ago at the donut shop that I worked with.
The donuts here are not super fancy and they shouldnāt be. One thing I can tell you is that the chocolate that they use is excellent. This should be one of the easiest things but some of the donut shops along US 19 in Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs really struggle to get this correctly.
This place is worth bypassing the 10 Dunkinā Donuts and other independent donut chops you will pass on your way to get to this destination.
If you are going to eat donuts, donāt settle. Do it right. This place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNever been here and couldn't really rate the atmosphere since it was an online order. Ordered 1/2 dozen "fancy" donuts but got what looks like to me the left overs of what people didn't think we're fancy. 8 am and already ran out of biscuits ? Maybe they are just that good ? We'll never know. Order online says pigs in a blankets and received a pig. Again maybe just me but when you say pigs you think plural and small bite sized not a single hotdog in a blanket. I think that just wasn't decribed appropriately on the app. All the breads were nice, soft, and taste fresh baked and sandwiched were a good price for the size. The breakfast sandwich combo is a great deal with good coffee. All in all disappointed I didn't get a fancy donut this morning and to try their biscuits. Not sure I'd order online or I guess so late in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place used to be great. The last 3 times we went, the case is almost empty and it is before 8 am. They aren't making new donuts to refill the case. The donuts are amazing but I think you have to get there at 6am to get a cream filled one. Gone first and not restocked. The newest girl doesn't understand a lot of English so you have to ask for the same thing multiple times. We also asked for the warm donuts (since the plain glazed are the only ones that they semi restock) that just came out and she refused and gave us...
