I ordered(on the app) a nitro cold brew, and an iced latte for someone else, a few weeks ago. I drove to the Clemson, SC location, to pick it up. When I arrived, the young lady at the drive thru(who was very nice btw), informed me that their latte machine was broken, and their nitro was out. She offered to make me something else, but I didn’t want anything else. I wanted what I ordered. I knew there was another Dunkin’, up the street, and I could go there and purchase the drinks. I asked for a refund, and was told that there was no one working, who could give a refund. She told me I could come back the next day and get my refund, but I told her that didn’t really work, since I live about 30 mins away. So… I went on the app, and filed a complaint/asked for a refund. The bot told me that I would receive a call back in a day or two, so I waited for the call. The call never came, so a week later, I called a number I found to Dunkin’s home office I suppose. The rep offered me 500 points and a call back from the locations owner. I accepted the offer, because I was starting to think I’d end up just getting nothing back anyway. They issued me the reward points, but still never got a call back. I did receive a weird email, to come back to the store for a refund though. Finally, about two weeks after the original order, I was near the location and decided to stop in for a refund. It was a little after 5, and the locations posted hours were 8:30 or 9. I a see a young female inside taking selfies, but the door was locked… so, I called again… this time the lady on the phone was rude, and hung up on me, but I did get a $5 refund a week or so later. Very disappointed, and will definitely not return to the Clemson location...
Read moreClemson, SC Dunkin Donuts -- I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe someone was having a bad day. But after trying again today -- I will not go back! Ever! As with every other time I've been through that Clemson drive-thru, someone quickly tells me to "just a minute." I placed my order for a large dark-roast coffee.....was cut off with "will that be all?" Then I said, "I'd like that with a shot of espresso and cream." Then got "will that be all" again. I wanted some kcups but was scared to ask, so I said "yes." When she repeated the order back to me, it sounded like she said "a large dark-roast coffee and a chai-tea?" I said politely, "no it's a shot of espresso with cream." She then says "NO, I SAAAID AAA LAAAAARGE COOOOFFFFEEEE WITH A SHOOOOOTTT OF ESPR..." I interrupted her sarcastic and disrespectful response and said "you know what, why do you guys always have an attitude? Just cancel my order and I will not be back." I drove right over to Starbucks where I was greeted with a smiling voice, was handed my dark-roast with espresso and cream by a smiling young lady who started my experience with a GOOD MORNING!!! Thanks Starbucks!! I can always depend on you guys to start my morning off right! I'll never...
Read moreAfter a ambulance ride that led to 5 hours in a Emergency Room with no food or drinks... A coffee, crescent, and a drought from DD seemed like a great idea. After waiting 30 MINUTES, on a simple order (that included the wrong doughnut that I asked to be changed out) a young short African American male put a large coffee cup on the counter and yelled out what it was. I walked over and asked "Sorry, but is this the coffee with my order?"
This employees response was "READ THE DAMM LABLE"... I pointed at the hospital band still on my arm and stated I was just released from the ER and did not have my reading glasses so I can't read the label.. "SO?" was his next response. (Note there were children in the restaurant that also go to gear his language.)
Another customer read the label for me as none of the other employees seemed to care that I was being spoken to in this manner... I then said "great customer service" and one of the employees laughed as I left to be driven home by my 80 year old father that got to witness the whole event. I pray a Krispy Kreme (Better droughts and WAY BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE) opens in Clemson soon so nobody has to ever step foot in this dismal doughnut...
