Goober's — Restaurant in Clemson

Nothing like it use to be. Service was non existent and when we were going to order was told that the price on the menu was no longer valid. No wonder it has become a ghost towne there.

In response we were going to order wings. After we started to order we were informed that the price had went up around $4.50 per order more than the menu price. We also sat at an outdoor table with other guests next to us for over 10 minutes as the waitress passed us by multiple times going to her vehicle and waiting the other table. There were only 2 tables occupied, 1 person behind the bar.

Response : At that time your menu still had wings on it...

My wife and I ordered hot dogs, nachos and a basket of fries. The hot dogs were old and wrinkled. The chili on the hot dogs was cold. The basket of fries was cold when you bit in to them, they weren't cooked long enough. The chips with the nachos were stale. Very disappointing. Goobers has gone downhill since the last time...

We have LOVED this place for years but just this month they've gotten rid of half their menu. No more tater tots (they were to die for) or any fried food. Meals have also arrived with wrong toppings. This was our go-to, but maybe we need to find a...
