Moe Joe Coffee Co — Restaurant in Clemson

Ordered our food at 10:00 after sitting in the drive thru for 30 minutes, then was told it was gonna be 45 minutes and that we couldn’t even stay in the drive thru. We went inside and waited for almost an HOUR for our food. I asked every single worker to check on my food order and they all just kept on with making coffee or whatever else they were doing and never checked on the order. We were told oh 5 minutes for your food, an hour almost went by and no one brought out our food order. Do not come here unless you want a bunch of teenagers to ignore you and lie to you. If you are that behind on food orders then stop letting people order food. We ended up walking out and didn’t receive our food so I wasted money and time , very frustrated. If it’s busy just don’t even bother coming to this place

No one provided me with an update, I got a singular update after asking 5 times and I was told 5 minutes which was obviously a lie 😂😂. So I don’t appreciate your smart remarks back. Yall need to do better or the reviews will keep coming, and yeah I’m sure my name was called I left because I had waited for my food for an entire hour and took my business elsewhere. There were tons of other customers also asking for updates on their orders and no one comes back to let you know, very poorly ran . I understand new staff but there was ways to make that run smoother. And I didn’t bother asking for a refund because you can’t get any one to stop and listen to you . You need to be a lot more receptive with advise instead of snarking back to people who leave your reviews ....

I am a barista so I judge coffee shops pretty harshly. I am giving this place a two for the following reasons: the atmosphere was great. It was a really cool place, had a lot of people studying and I could tell most people enjoy it. the girl who took our order was incredibly rude. Barely even looked up at us and had an attitude the whole time. Anyone who works in customer service knows no matter what you're going through you smile and be polite to customers. I am always very generous when it comes to tipping because I understand the struggle, but I did not tip her very well because of how she acted. our drinks did not come out very quickly. Two other people got their orders before us, even though they had ordered way atter us. on top of all of this, the coffee wasn't even good. I would consider it a waste of time and money. Luckily the drinks were not too expensive. We got two 20 ounce drinks for $11, so props to them for that. Overall, the customer service in this place really sucked, and the drinks weren't good, but if you are looking for low priced coffee and a good atmosphere it's probably the...

Another nice coffee shop in Clemson. Not as large as some other shops study space wise, but really like the furniture/atmosphere and still have a really nice area to study in. They have an upstairs as well for a smaller area to chill out.

They got a good set of board games to chill out and play. Their specialty espresso drinks are really delicious and well made, and reasonable with the prices. They also provide a nice food menu if you’re looking for more to eat that a typical coffee/pastry shop.

My only slight gripe was their straight espresso being a little overly bitter; tasted a bit over-extracted (could’ve just been a one off occurrence) and their coffee beans are usually a little old/not too fresh if you’re looking for fresh beans to allow for degassing, with no roast dates on their bags. This is just being overly nit picky, however.

Overall another nice (non chain) coffee shop to compliment to Clemson that’s not downtown with plenty of parking and a drive through. Really...
