My recent visit to Pot Belly Deli left me feeling quite disappointed, resulting in a 2-star rating. While the restaurant had potential, there were several aspects that fell short of expectations. Firstly, the cost of the food did not match the value received. I found the pricing to be on the higher side considering what was offered in return. This made the overall dining experience less enjoyable, as I felt I wasn’t getting the best value for my money. The hot sub I ordered was also disappointing. It arrived cold, which was a major letdown since hot subs are meant to be served warm and comforting. This oversight took away from the overall taste and enjoyment of the meal. Furthermore, the Ruben sandwich I ordered lacked fillings, leaving it quite underwhelming. The absence of essential components affected the flavor profile, making it far from the delicious experience I had hoped for. The packaging and presentation were also lacking. The pickle in the bag was carelessly tossed in without proper wrapping or attention to detail, which diminished the overall impression of the restaurant’s commitment to quality. Parking and accessibility were major issues as well. Finding a parking spot was challenging, and the location itself was not conveniently situated, making it a less desirable destination for a quick meal. In conclusion, my experience at Pot Belly Deli was far from satisfactory, resulting in a 2-star rating. The inadequate value for money, the cold hot sub, the lackluster Ruben sandwich, and the careless packaging all contributed to this disappointing visit. I hope the restaurant addresses these areas of improvement, as they have the potential to offer a better dining experience for their customers.

What a cool little spot! It definitely is popular and has a great college atmosphere. You wait In line and order first w the ladies over the deli counter. Then you continue to wait in line and pay at the front register. You go find a seat and they call your name and you raise your hand- so pay attention lol. Booth seating was cozy. The guys ordered a Philly cheese steak — they added jalapeños to it and split it. It was a good size (not huge but filling w all the meat). I ordered the tuna melt but doctored it up. I asked for it on Rye bread, subbed pepper Jack cheese, added tomato and lettuce (it already had onion). So so good!! One of the best tuna melts I’ve had! So flavorful. My son got the kids meal Turkey cheese- subbed cheddar cheese instead of American, and got it on a croissant. I forgot to ask for it toasted, so it was just okay. Cold croissant w cold meat and cheese isn’t the best but was edible. We took the other half home and toasted it- yum! Kids meal came w chips and a fountain drink. We also got some Voodoo chips, bbq chips, and the guys got cans of crème soda and black cherry cola. All came to just over $40. Not bad. They were efficient and pretty quick, even when very busy on a Saturday at lunch time. We surprisingly found parking in front in their small lot. They also have an outdoor front patio w some seating. Fun place inside. Lots of collage kids and a mix of families. The place is decorated w lots funny random stuff and with many old records, and had really good music playing too- eclectic mix. There’s nothing like a classic deli! Would be perfect to take sandwiches to the lake or a picnic. We’ll be back!

Amazing breakfast!! Honestly, I don't have a positive opinion of most of what South Carolina has to offer. I was delighted to find a REAL deli in Clemson. Their service, food, and atmosphere are first class. They have real New York bagels!! Everything was delicious. The only real negative about this place is the older lady. She was very rude. When leaving, I complimented the bagels. I said that their bagels are the first "real" bagles I've had in South Carolina. The young lady behind the counter accepted my compliment. The old lady gave me a dirty look and shook her head. She must be a local.

My family and I ABSOLUTELY ADORE Pot Belly! We have been enjoying their fresh delicious food for many years! We visit from NY a lot and we know what a good bagel should taste like! Highly recommend the egg and cheese, the everything bagel with smoked salmon with the works, Greek salad with chicken, dark horse sandwich, honestly too many favorite things to continue. Their catering is wonderful! We ordered platters for my daughter’s pre wedding festivities in April 2021. It was for the bridal party morning/afternoon food while ladies were getting ready. Huge hit! Gorgeous generous patters artfully done. The pickiest eaters were impressed. The baked goods and sandwiches were awesome. I texted the owner, Jenn, at 2:30 AM the night before the wedding day with an emergency add on because the groomsmen had no plan for food, (men!) so I asked her to create a few more platters, cold cuts, bagels etc. Pot Belly Deli catering saved the day. She responded at 4 AM no problem! Jenn was on time with tasty, fresh, eye appealing platters. Try their catering for morning or luncheon events. You will be...
