Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Clemson

I visited the Clemson, SC location tonight via the drive thru sound 6:00pm. It was extremely busy, the line of cars went out of the parking lot & down the road. I gave my order, paid for & received it....then drive home. When I got home we all sat down at the table to eat....that’s when we realized two of our three orders were incorrect. I called the restaurant, spoke with the manager on duty who immediately rectified the problem by offering two solutions. I decided to drive back to the store to get one of our orders remade (it was SUPERBOWL Sunday & I REALLY wanted those wings!!). As soon as I arrived, the manager greeted me and quickly gave me the wings that I was after. I attempted to purchase cookies (they were looking very yummy in the display case) the manager immediately insisted on giving me the cookies free of charge!! When I made it back to my house & ate my wings...I’m happy to report that they were the BEST tasting wings that I’ve had in a VERY long time!!! I came here tonight ordered my daughter a chicken sandwich meal, with cheese ONLY. Took about 15 minutes, which I kind of expected, paid and left. Unfortunately, we did not check to make sure the order was correct. 10 minute drive home, opened it and the order was wrong. We drove back to get it corrected. There was still a line and I knew it would take a few minutes. She said it would take about 10 minutes. After 15 minutes I asked about the food. They gave me a sandwich, but no fries, after it had been sitting for this whole time, what she had was cold. She said that it would take another 5 minutes. I do not understand how it takes that long to scoop some fries and throw them in a box. There are a bunch of kids working in this place. I am all for teenagers wanting to work, but it seems like they need adults to help run this place. The car line, while I waited the second time barely ever moved. The cars were actually honking. Zaxby's is usually a great fast food restaurant, but this particular Zaxby's is below average in the service category. Today I was looking for something to eat for lunch between classes and I saw Zaxby's and decided to stop and eat there. It had been a while since I had eaten there and I couldn't remember why, because I love the kickin chicken sandwich. It wasn't until I drove away with my take out that I realized why I hadn't eaten there in so long. My order was wrong. This Zaxby's is below average in service because they are not competent enough to take your order correctly, and if they seem to be able to complete this menial task, another employee will fall short trying to put your order together. So if you are looking for a nice place to eat lunch I suggest Chick Fil A or anywhere else. If you insist on eating there, or getting some food from the drive through, I suggest that you check your order twice before...
