This is an above average Steakhouse, so why do i say this, well number one the Manager “Will” is meticulous in his management style, the restaurant was very clean from the bar, to the dining areas including the Men’s room, All the employees presented themselves as articulate, well dressed in their uniforms and from my experience with Tiffany(barmaid) knew the menu, and how to give excellent service, for example i asked Tiffany for a cafe Americano, and she stated, we only have black drip coffee” i told Tiffany that would be fine, and to my surprise the coffee was rich, and tasty and was just as good or maybe even better than any coffee emporioum that sells there brand in the USA. Then i ordered my meal, a cup of Lobster Bisque + shrimp corn chowder soup, a garden salad and also a 6 oz medium rare sirloin steak. All the food was delivered as first the soup, then the salad, followed by the steak, just like any high class steakhouse that i have been used to from my days in Washington DC. Tiffany even knew where the beef came from(grass Fed in Canada) and she also mentioned they have the same supplier as another famous steak house, that goes by the name Ruth C….,I was impressed with her knowledge of the beef, and when she presented me with the bill, for around $25, i said “Tiffany i think you made a mistake as this charge is too low, of course she doubled checked my food order and she stated all is correct, i couldn’t believe how inexpensive this meal was, along with the high quality of service, delicious food and atmosphere,i don’t think a fast food restaurant that sells hamburgers on a bun with fries could even present this food and atmosphere and would charge about the same price for fast food. So what i am saying is that this restaurant gives you better food for less money than any drive thru. So in summary if your hungry and in the mood for some excellent food and service at economy prices this is the place to go in Clermont Florida. This resaurant is 5 star plus, which reflect Will the manger’s style of supervision and of course if Will or Tiffany would some day like to come work for me, I would make a space for them in my company as they are the kind of people that made my lunch so...
Read moreWe came in on a Tuesday evening right around 5:00 pm. There was nobody in the entire restaurant dining and there was one family of around six and another family of two that came in before us. The hostess took the family of six and disappeared around the wall to seat them. Another party of two enters behind us. All three parties of two are standing there waiting and waiting and waiting for the hostess to return. All the while, I see a manager by the bar having a leisurely conversation with another restaurant employee and he’s looking directly at us. The phone behind the desk begins to ring…. And ring…. And ring…. And ring. I was getting aggravated because the place is EMPTY. Finally he comes around the desk and picks up the phone and I hear him tell the person on the line “no we’re not busy, just come on in”. He then finally proceeds to show one party to their table. The hostess still has yet to return to her post. Finally after what seemed like a ridiculous amount of waiting for a completely EMPTY dining room, we were seated. Neither the manager or the hostess appeared to smile one time. They both looked miserable. So this was my first impression. Now, our waitress was absolutely fantastic. She was joyful and prompt and helpful with the menu. I really should start taking names and applying them for exemplary work and recognition. I ordered a ribeye 12oz. Cooked medium. And it was okay. Nothing special. It was actually quite fatty which I’m not a huge fan of but I know that ribeyes tend to have some chance of fat. The Brussel sprouts were recommended by the waitress and I’m not usually one to order those but I said why not. And they were actually quite good served in a honey butter. The sirloin was ordered medium well and came out over well done. Too done for my liking but my wife didn’t mind too much. I wouldn’t have enjoyed that. The shrimp was the best part of the entire meal I think. Overall, it’s what I would expect from a chain restaurant and to be honest, the only reason we went is cuz we had a gift card from Christmas time. I’d spend my money...
Read moreI like the food and I like the place. But did not like a incident that happened around 8 pm 07/05/2025 new Clermont fl location. At ending I paid for the food . But forgot my cart inside of the card holder. 5 minutes after leaving the restaurant I went inside and reported the incident saying I need to get my card back from the card holder. The front desk girl told I'm going to ask my supervisor. Then she came back saying no body reported seeing your cad. But give me your phone number and we will call you back if we see it. I was very aggravated because I had just left the restaurant e she just need to check with the girl that served me. But the lack of interest to help was very visible. I told her I'm going to look at the table my self because I know I left it at the card holder. I went inside close the table that I just left the card holder was not there any more. But another server approached me and asked . Can I help you? Once I told her . She said: do you see your server? I answered ...Yes.. and I pointed to the girl that served me The waitress got closer to her and asked about my card. The girl went to the desk where she had left them. And there was my card. I really appreciated the waitress that took the time to help me . And I thought was very inappropriate the others that I asked for help first. I believe they should have tried to help the costumer not just when they are coming in but also when they have a concern as I had. I hope they traine well their workers in the future . Starting with the supervisor. That have not interresse on my matter. And did not put them self on my shoes. Wouldn't you wanted to get help for a important matter as loosing your debit card at a restaurant? I had left just 5 minutes prior! Why not go and look for it with my server as your...
