The worst so called Indian food I’ve ever had in my life. They should be ashamed. The biryani is just white basmati rice tossed with flour coated over-fried hard dark meat chicken as if it was an afterthought mixed with a small bit of seasoned oil and put in a to-go container with raw red onions on top. This is not an authentic biryani as the chicken was FRIED and cooked separately and then mixed with plain white rice. It had no flavor, no seasonings, no herbs, no veggies, nothing. The chicken was overcooked dark meat with tons of fat, connective tissue and a weird flour coating. Phot attached. What a joke. Their food is inedible and after eating a few bites, we threw it in the garbage. All of the chicken in the chicken 65 tasted old like it was cooked a week ago, left in the fridge for days and then frozen and then thawed and then fried again to death like the same fried dark meat chicken as the biryani. My boyfriend has a stomach ache from it. The butter chicken and the chicken tikka masala, (which was oddly half sautéed bell peppers) was dreadful and tasted like jarred sauce and frozen pre-cooked rubbery chicken from Sysco diced up and thrown in it and then microwaved altogether. The whole thing looked and tasted like mud. Zero depth of flavor. The chicken was clearly precooked, diced and then put into a generic canned/jarred sauce. The naan was tough and dry and definitely not fresh. How disgusting and what a waste of money. For portion size and quality, we were robbed blind. People that like this place are delusional. Go to Guru if you want real Indian food and not to be sick.
To accuse me of being a competitor because I know what good Indian food should taste and look like and all of your food is generic, premade and disgusting is laughable. I used to be a server so ive seen it all and it doesn't take a competitor to know what generic Sysco brand food tastes, feels and looks like. Thankfully for you, the general public probably won’t though, but...
Read moreLook no further if there was ever a hidden gem of a restaurant in Clermont. I have found it. If you're into Indian food, this is the place. Nestled in a shopping center, this place lies just waiting to be discovered and to whisk you in for a meal that is simple, NIRVANA. It's as if you're transported to India when you walk in. You are greeted by some of the happiest smiles and warmest welcomes. The menus are nicely written and explain exactly what each plate has. That being said, I was ready for some authentic Indian food. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, saffron rice, and butter naan bread. And Paneer cheese flavored with a spicy chili sauce with onion and bell peppers. The naan bread tasted authentic as if it was slapped on the searing hot clayed walls of a tandoor oven. The chicken tandoor was moist and flavorful. With every bite, my taste buds danced and sang. I found myself comparing this restaurant to some of the local expensive restaurants that offer these dishes with their twists of how they think they should taste. I can honestly say the food had the right flavor from the creamy curry to the right amount of flavorful seasonings and the right texture of the saffron rice to the slight delicate crunch of the naan bread, not like other places where it tastes charred and very doughy The portions were perfect and offered up a full happy stomach. Now, at the end of the meal, you're given a on the house desert that was beyond amazing a mango pudding with real mango. If ever you could achieve NIRVANA x 2, it's here, I will be having many happy meals here for a long time to come. You won't regret going here, and you and your taste buds will have a whole new...
Read moreFood 5/5 My fiancé and I floated in like Pepe le pew, the smells were delicious leaving the gym next door. We ordered appetizers to try the place out and it was very delicious and a bit spicy just how I like it. (We order the cheese curd appetizer forgot what it’s called) Service: When we arrived we were welcomed with smiles and immediately sat. We were checked on often but with grace as to allow us to enjoy our meal without running out of drink. The waitresses were very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Atmosphere: My first impression walking in was the cleanliness and the minimalist atmosphere, very open and the music was pleasant, Indian culture music that just made me want to wiggle in my seat. The atmosphere is calm, warm, and the staff is very hospitable.
*While I was here on my first visit, the owner/manager asked a few guests about their experience and about 3 of them had stated they are return customer (this place just opened& I will also be a return customer) Before leaving our waitress let us try the mango custard desert which was very sweet and the naan bread with extra butter was definitely worth the extra 50cents so good. *Other than that they serve you in a glass and their soft drinks are poured into from a Can which I prefer, just not sure if they give free refills here but probably not. Doesn’t affect my score for a 5/5 Indian Cuisine; Authentic, decent sized portions, clean,...
