Was excited to go to a Ruby Tuesdays as the one near where I used to live had closed. We went in the early evening on the way back home from errands. It was fairly empty inside which was nice on a Saturday night. Got seated at a booth and greeted shortly by a server. So far so good.
Seeing as we’ve been there before and we kind of knew the menu we gave our entire order up front. Nothing complicated. Pasta dish and a chicken dish. No modifications.
I got the salad bar which had seen better days. Wilted greens, soggy meats. Unlabeled mystery dressings. I can tell the difference between French and Ranch dressing but when you have two similar looking dressings next to each other it would be nice to know without having to ask. I did end up asking an employee that was restocking the salad bar but when I asked that I had questions regarding the dressings I was met with “what kind of questions?” In a tone that was very annoyed I even asked for assistance.
After our appetizer came and entrees came we rarely if ever saw our server. Actually we did see them casually walking from the kitchen to an area behind a wall. They had additional tables but we didn’t get the sense of urgency with service towards us and their other customers. We could hear that the kitchen was having to refire food again for other tables. They would have needed to refire our pasta meal as it was cold. The plate was hotter than the food which is not a good sign as it was most likely just sitting under a hot lamp neglected.
I guess that would sum up the experience at this Ruby Tuesdays. This location seemed neglected. On a Saturday night this place should be packed. Servers/bussers hustling to turn tables.
Our server had 2 other tables that we could see and each visit to a table they would walk right past without checking in on the others. Especially when we and other tables made requests. Drink refills were never given until the end which at that point we took them to go.
Idk, it was just ok and the lack of service and attitude at the salad bar makes me not want to try again. I guess I see why the other one closed.

Read moreThis place server was horrible. My Granddaughter came home for the holidays after being away for 2 years in the Military, so I decided to take her out to eat at Ruby Tuesday in Clermont Florida since we were in the area. We ordered our food after waiting for approximately 10 minutes for our server mind you the place only had a handful of people that we could see. When the food was delivered I cut into my steak and it was a little too rare for me, we waited for our waitress so I could let her know about the steak however to no avail, I tried flagging her down and that didn't work. My Son took my steak to a busboy and asked him if he could please take the steak to the kitchen and ask them to cook the steak a little longer which he did. After a short while the busboy returned with the steak and asked me If the steak was OK which I said yes. My Granddaughter and Daughter-in-law were waiting to see if the waitress would show up to ask for refills on the soda after 20 minutes we finally manage to get the waitress to come over. I stated "they are waiting for their drinks " she stated what drinks I replied " refills " being so disappointed with the service I decided not to eat my steak and requested a to go container for my steak. When the waitress returned she bought my Granddaughter (my Military Soldier) a child's to go cup and my daughter in-law the same. They weren't even done eating their food yet. Everyone looked at me and decided that it was time to leave. The waitress gave me the check for $126. Which I paid and we left to another place where the service was amazing. Bottom line is this place has to train their servers or have someone going around to the tables to check on their service. As for me I'm done with...
Read moreDecided to go to ruby Tuesday for lunch and I was also surprised because I had no idea they had any ruby tuesdays down here in Florida . I am from the Midwest and in the Midwest they gave tons of Ruby Tuesday’s but I had no idea they are down here. The parking lot is nice and big, and so you will have no problem finding a spot to park. The inside of the restaurant was nice but it is a bit old inside . They walk paper is peeling and there ya wear and tear on the seats 💺. So a upgrade is due. The bathrooms 🚽 were ok but should be clean more. Amy restaurant should clean there restaurant every two hours because people use them so much and they become unclean. The staff is nice 👍 and professional, nice, willing to help. Amazing customer service . They have new items on there menu and as always a great salad 🥗 bar. I got the salad 🥗 bar and ordered the top sirloin steak 🥩 meal with French fries 🍟 and a baked potatoes 🥔. For dessert I had a slice of carrot cake 🍰🥕. The cake was so good and it was my favorite part of the meal . The food was amazing and I got my steak medium well. My waiter was lisa and she was very nice 👍 and professional and did her job very very very well. Thanks Lisa for giving me a enjoyable dining experience. There new and improved menu was nice . Nice to see some new things on the menu. This restaurant is amazing and good for any member of the family. I would totally recommend this restaurant and I will be back.
