I will be as general as possible so as to respect the privacy of our server, who was young and absolutely didn’t mean any harm with their demeanor. When they approached our table the greeting was „Hi, I am….I guess I will be your server today…“, with a shrug. Ok, that set the tone for us as it was a bit awkward but this had happened before with another server! The same lax attitude. I take this a bit more seriously because I used to work there! Albeit I was 15, but still….it just not okay to approach a table like that and it’s been a pattern at Aladdin’s that I have the feeling they would rather not have a table…Because this is who I am, I joked and lightened the uncomfortableness and the server and all of us really had a great end to the night. Aladdin’s server:, give the customers a chance to have a truly professional experience when we are spending time in your section, and patrons: give your server a chance to open up because a crappy greeting shouldn’t blind you to the reality that these are mostly young people serving us that may not really know better (Yes I’m talking to you, Gen Z 😋) but please Aladdin’s management: train train train your staff. Keep the standards high, because we were expecting the best. That being said, the food was outstanding. Thank you to the cook or chef. The wine selection was...
Read moreAlways pretty tasty food, however I've been a little disappointed about prices, ex: I used to go all the time to this restaurant, and would often get the "Flavor Savor" special eat-in or take-out, which used to actually be a good deal, but honestly over the past several years the price has gone up 50%, to now I haven't been in ages cause it feels like a rip off and might as well go Panda Express or something for a lot less. More food there too. Seems Aladdin's is trying to go "upscale", but for people trying to get lunch or something reasonable for dinner, it's way less an option than it used to be. And yes, you won't find an easy substitute if it's what you're craving, but then I'm not gonna pretend like ground beef and rice is "breaking the bank" to make either just cause it's got some allspice and parsley in it. Ex: I can't think of where to get meatloaf or country fried steak at a restaurant besides Bob Evans either, but that these cost around what Aladdins used to charge and for two sides too, doesn't mean I'm going there if they...
Read moreThe waiter chased me outside the restaurant harassing me and my kids!! They need to do a better job training their servers. The waiter who served us was not friendly and when we asked him for a to-go containers he kept asking like how many? how many? I told him 8 as I have all my family with me, I was not sure how many and I left the unused ones. However, he brought a crumbled bag and tossed it on the table!!!!. He was not friendly. The same waiter (white short guy, kinda bold, with brown beard) followed me to the parking lot, harassing me, and terrorizing me and my kids yelling at me in anger at the parking lot because I wrote on the receipt "the waiter needs to be friendly"!! That is INSANE and I never imagined a waiter follows customers to the parking lot chasing them, yelling, harassing, and wanting to have a physical fight!! My kids were traumatized with this outrageous behavior!!!! I called and complained to the manager but I don't believe they are going to do anything. Regret to go there but never plan to go to Aladdin...
