Arby's — Restaurant in Cleveland

So far the worse experience ever.

When I pulled up there were employees outside smoking by the drive through line.

I went in to place my order. There was no one in the restaurant. I yelled hello twice and waited. After four minutes I called the store phone number. It rang several time before the manager came walking in fast and reached for the phone. I hung the phone up. He said he missed the call. I said it’s okay, it was me calling. (He should have helped me before answering the phone). Three other employees came in. The manager was dripping sweat on his forehead.

I ordered the 2 for $7 beef n cheddar without cheese since it’s cheaper than two regular sandwiches and a small curly fry.

I began to watch the guy make my food without washing his hands first. He also had to try to make it a third time since he kept putting cheese on it. He had one glove on and was making my food one handed. None of the employees washed their hands when they came back inside. The guy coughed into his hand without the glove four or five times during the process of preparing my food. The then wrapped my sandwiches with both hands. At one point he bent over to grab something and his pants were so sagged that I got a free show of his butt.

The girl handed me the bag in which I said I don’t think I want those sandwiches since he was coughing into his hand than touching my food. Let alone not washing his hands after his smoke break.

The manager then went into the back, washed his hands and remade my sandwiches. The girl went into the back and was talking the guy the originally made my food in which he began to have and issue that I was upset. The girl came to the front again and handed me my food. I asked if that was the manager that remade my food. She said yes and had him come to the front. I said I know that the guy was upset that I was upset but that is disgusting that he kept coughing in his hands while making my food. The other guy was listening than came to the front. Maybe he couldn’t hear me and wanted to hear what I said. I told him that was disgusting. You didn’t wash your hands when you came back and then you where coughing in your hands while making my food. His respond was he had a tickle. I told him that he should cough into his arm, not his hand while making food. People have to eat this.

This place only got worse. You keep giving them a shot and they kept getting worse.

My mother and I had went through the drive-thru as we had been at the hospital all day waiting for my father to get out of surgery. We were starving and it was close. Typically I love Arby's on any given day. But as we had given our order and had drove up to the drive-thru as it was moving along just fine. Not only were we ask exactly what it was we had placed on the order. But none of the instructions that were given with each order were followed. We had to ask for the things we had requested three or four times before even pulling away. I have never once I had ordered a hot sandwich from Arby's (Ruben) in a small order of mozzarella sticks taste so old, and cold! I feel as if there was outside conversation going on within the crew outside of work on other topics, that they thought just being on autopilot cuz they were at work you would not hurt their service even though I don't feel as they were paying attention to the order the excludes on the order, the fact that we had to not only ask for straws, napkins, my marinara sauce for my mozzarella sticks, only to receive a frustrated employee as if we were bothering them. Today: So... now every night around 10:40pm (at least twice this week), they claim their system is down & won't be back on for 10-12 minutes. And when I told them I'd wait in line until their system went back up, they told me I had to get out the drive-thru, park, & check with them in 5+ minutes. I asked why I couldn't just stay where I was (because they did have both lanes open at that time & someone had just pulled into the other line & took off once they heard the system down schpiel) , & they said that's just the rules they have to follow. I moved but they sure took the next person's order. I don't know what's up with this particular Arby's but they really suck!!! Like last time, I took my business elsewhere.
