Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Cleveland

Aug 3, I phoned in a catering order and explained that I wanted to pay with A gift card. "Harmony" said No Problem, just tell us when you get here. I did however have to give my credit card info to place the order. I also requested plates, service ware, and chose Chick fil A sauce. Upon arrival, I told a young lady at the register who I was, why I was there, that I intended to pay for my order with the gift card I had in my hand. She walked away and notified the manager. The manager handed me the bag with my food. I told her I was going to pay with the gift card. She looked blankly at me and she only offered to refund my credit card. No apology, almost curt. Then when I asked for the service ware and sauce I requested, she ask who I spoke to because nothing I had said was noted anywhere. I told her "Harmony" to which she replied, "that explains it". I love Chik Fila. I have visited this location a lot. (It's currently closed for renovations for a few weeks.) The food is good, but I have had several mess ups on my drive through orders, including several times where I got home and NO sauce was in my bag- or much less than I ordered. I've never had that problem while dining in. If you call in, they will comp you on the VIP list, but twice they said they put my name on the list and when I got there and told them, they said, we can't find your name... One time they just asked what it was and gave it, but the other they said I had to speak with a manager. I never went back to get it, but I have a family of 6 and I know we have lost out on at least $15 if stuff. Chick-fil-A is always my go to fast food. The food is always excellent and the service is always above and beyond any other restaurant. The Airport CFA is usually the most packed restaurant at the airport. It's always well staffed and the staff are friendly and courteous. The food has always been on par when I go here. Prices are high but keep in mind the following: 1. Airport restaurants are tenants and rent the space they are in which is never cheap in an airport. 2. Everything that comes into the airport is screen by a third party company for security reasons. 3. They have a lot of staff to pay to keep busy passengers moving so they don't miss their flight due to slow service. These costs get passed onto the customer.
