I like to give waitstaff the benefit of the doubt, but this one I gave 3. I even apologized to her the first two times feeling that we may have confused her. The last one was the last straw. The itemized bill she gave me had my $7 salad and what I thought were my two drinks at $9 for a total of $16. I was shocked that the beer was that cheap. When the card transaction slip showed up the charge was $25. I asked her why the bill was $25 now because she didn't give me back the itemized bill so I could see what it was. The manager came over and I explained it to him. He laughed and said no beer here is that cheap where two would be $9. The waitress came back and said I ordered my beer before the final bill was on the table, which was not the case. I had my second beer well before the bill arrived. My guess is the waitress forgot about it and added it after the fact and that's why I didn't get the itemized bill back like the other 5 people did who were in my party. Odd I was the only one who didn't get the itemized bill back and my bill went up. I don't appreciate being blamed for the wait staff's mistake. She was rude the entire time we were there, when I asked what seasonal beer was the Sam Adams she said it's just a rotating seasonal. I said ok, so do you know if it's summer ahandy or the summer ale? Her snotty reply was it's just a rotating seasonal. No, dont go ask the bartender. That would be too difficult. I gave her the benefit of the doubt all three times until she told me I ordered my second beer after the bill was ran. The appropriate way to handle it would have been to give me the updated itemized bill and let me know you forgot to add the second drink. I would have been more than understanding. I would not go here again because of the waitress was like dealing with my...
Read moreThe breakfast I had here was horrendous. A waste of $20 for two sausages, cold French toast, and scrambled eggs. I kid you not the French toast was cold and hard by the time I received it. I took one bite and it was enough for me to say nope, not today. The only thing I ate from my entire plate were the 2 patty sausages because they were decent.
It took me 15 minutes to receive water. I even went up to the bar to ask for water and she had the audacity to say, "your server will be with you." The annoying part was she was not busy or serving anyone and was just putting cups/glass away. We've been sitting for 15 mins and clearly she/he won't. It wasn't until the expo food runner, Clem, came out after 10 more minutes with our food that I finally could ask for and receive water. Might I add, there was no one that came to check in during the 40 minutes we were seated.
Trash. I will not return here. I'm currently writing this review at the table and not a single soul has approached us apart from our food being delivered. You're better off ordering from the fast food chains around the corner than ordering...
Read moreRude! As we walked in the redhead bartender said “we’re done” in very angry annoyed tone. When we turned to her she repeated it back-to-back in a very terse tone. “We’re done….we’re done.” In fact, as we were walking in, two ladies were walking out saying, “We’re out of here, that lady was ridiculously rude.” I guess I know who she was talking about. I let it go and kindly said, “Merry Christmas”. I wasn’t going to write this until I received a less than sincere Merry Christmas back. Vino Volo wasn’t much better. Quaker State employee wasn’t warm but at least said I’m sorry. When you work at an airport you represent your city. As a Clevelander, I was embarrassed by the pervasively negative attitude at the Hopkins’ restaurants we visited. Doesn’t seem like anyone wants to work anymore. Whomever the manager is you need to retrain your staff. RUDE. To be fair we have had good food here in the...
