Kenny's Tavern — Restaurant in Cleveland

Waited 1.5 hours before he started cooking. I hate Rob as a cook. He's incredibly slow and not worth the wait. I came with a friend who was speaking highly of the cook. She asked if I would like to try their food and I said yes. We ordered 2 of the same orders. Hers was done first and she was eating rather soon after ordering. I was introduced to Rob by my friend, so knowing his name wasn't hard. So after she got her meal I noticed Rob going for a cigarette. Why can't 2 burgers be cooked at the same time. I watched my friend eat her entire meal before this man put my burger on. Yes I waited 1.5 hours and when I received it I no longer had a drink and my friend was ready to leave. Now I'm being rushed to finish my meal. Very unpleasant. I have been at this bar a few times before this and always had a good time. No I never worked there and had no grudges. I left this review in order to hope you can fix the time management. Not a revenge tactic. Hoping for improvement. I have adjusted my rating a little. If this issue can be addressed, I'll gladly give a higher rating.

Also should know by reading the name is Shawn. Spelled like it sounds. If you want good customers to keep coming, learn why a complaint was made before you assume the customer was making it up. I was a repeat customer. Now my experience has left a foul taste that I'd rather...

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the warmth and friendliness of this local bar and grill. We stopped in midday for a quick bite and Maria the hostess, bartender, waitress, chief cook and bottle washer, welcomed us like long lost family. My wife and I shared a fish dinner which was served hot right from the fryer and the French fries were hand cut. The menu is limited, but Maria ran through their daily specials for the week and shared that she prepared a lot of the items from scratch. We were even gifted a large cabbage from regular customer who brought it in to see if it might be needed on the grill for St. Patty’s Day. We will be back to try out...

Listen, this place is an incredible dive bar with awesome staff! I was astounded they have G.L. Xmas ale on draft super cheap and the bartender Erin is always very funny and attentive. The only thing that could make this place better would be a more diverse food menu, but honestly when you're at a dive bar you probably want dive bar food and from what I hear it's not bad. The other fantastic element is the crowd. If I didn't know any better I'd think they were paying them to be so...
