Unprofessional. Unsanitary. I visited Liquid Fresh Planet on Clifton today for the first time because I wanted a lighter/healthier breakfast option while on the go. I've passed this place a million times and had it on my radar. I entered via the back door and as walking up to the register I said Hi to the lady who was meeting me at the register. The lady just looked at me with a half smile. I get to the register and asked how she was doing and she answered. I proceeded to say this was my first time in and not sure what I want. She says "welcome to this wonderful establishment" or something to the effect. So I grabbed a menu which has a robust list of items to choose from. I sat down at an empty table. While I was reviewing the menu, the same lady who greeted me at the register began yelling at the other lady in the back "what is it going to take for these people to put the stickers on the right way - just do it right!" the other lady responded (and I am not sure if this was serious or joking) "Yes! Doing it now! Yes CHEF!" I glanced up to see what was going on and the same lady said "I'm sorry...". I decided on what I wanted and proceeded to the register to place my order - a bacon and egg pita and the sunrise smoothie. She goes "that's an interesting choice for your first smoothie here" I asked "how so?" she replies - "well that's rather bland" and I replied "well ya know for it being my first time, got to put my toe in the water" - I pay and she begins preparing my meal. I look over and this woman has grabbed the bacon with her BARE hand throwing it on the tray with the eggs and pops it in the microwave. I asked her "You don't put on gloves to handle the food?" by this time she must have saw the disgust on my face and grabbed a pair of gloves in her hand and says "do you want extra bacon, I can do that?" I just turned around and sat back down because at this point I am deciding if I am going to take the order, ask for a refund or just leave. I end up just leaving without food or refund - this was my choice as I was SO turned off by the whole experience, I just wanted out of there. I will never step foot in...

I ordered a mexican pita, salad and a smoothy through door dash. I was getting ready for work and was starving so I thought it would be great to have breakfast and lunch for later and the "pickmeup" smoothy. My food arrived right on time. š I went right in to eat the delicious chips that came with my pita. I lifted my pita, took a bite, and pulled a very long hair out of my mouth. š³š³š³š³š³š³š³š³ I immediately called the restaurant to ask to speak to a manager. I SHOULD have been very angry but instead I just knew that mistakes happen and they would take care of things right away. šš I was disappointed to discover that the manager would have to call me back LATER that day. So of course I went to work hungry because there was no time for me to cook or grab a bite to eat which was the reason I ordered in the first place. I have a very short lunch so picking anything up was out of the question. Of course by the time management called me back (5pm) I was well into my work day and missed the call. I called back today after work to follow up. This is when I was told the manager left me a voicemail yesterday at 5pm and I will be refunded for the pita in 3 to 5 days. š just the pita. š as if they thought I was going to risk drinking a possibly hairy smoothy and hairy salad. š. I can NOT believe it. If I could give a negative 10 stars I would! I will NEVER give this place my business again. Ever!!! Eat if you dare!!! Smh!!! Terrible...keep your pita money. Im good. Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been a loyal customer at liquid fresh planet for over eight years your food is genuinely one of my happy places. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, I encountered a level of attitude and unprofessionalism from the staff that surprised me and left me disappointed.
Over the past year Iāve noticed a shift in how a few employees interact with patrons. On this last visit, I felt the teamās personal frustrations were being directed at customers, rather than at, say, a good plate of fries. As someone whoās always believed āit costs nothing to be nice,ā it was disheartening to see that chip on the shoulder energy on display. While I completely understand we all have off days, when youāre serving the public, a pleasant demeanor is part of the job description.
Iām writing not just to vent, but because I care about this place as much as you do. I firmly believe that with a little coaching and a reminder about the importance of customer experience, your team can get back to the warm, welcoming service that drew me in all those years ago. Iād hate to see great food let down by less than great service.
