PureFyx Health Bar, Coffee Shop & Juicery — Restaurant in Cleveland

I don’t even know where to begin with Purefyx in Ohio City. I went in expecting a clean, fresh experience and instead walked into what felt like the set of a low-budget horror film.

Let’s start with Brandon. I don’t know who put this man in charge of customer service, but within 5 minutes he somehow managed to make me lose my appetite and my will to live. At one point, I kid you not, he showed me his hole — I wish I meant a donut hole or something remotely edible. Nope. I still can’t unsee it. My soul is bruised.

The hygiene here? Nonexistent. Counters were sticky, the blender looked like it had been used in a construction zone, and one of the workers wiped their sweat with their bare hand and then handled a cup. No gloves, no shame.

The food? Bro, I’ve had better kale from the backseat of my car after a 90-degree weekend. Smoothie was watery, the acai bowl tasted like freezer burn, and the granola felt like it was made by someone who’s never chewed before.

It was also very clear the staff was overworked. There were like two people running the entire place while Brandon… did whatever Brandon does (which seems to involve trauma).

Save yourself. Go literally anywhere else. Or just eat ice cubes. Cleaner, cheaper, and a million times...

PureFyx Health Bar & Juicery is the kind of place where atmosphere and intention matter just as much as what’s on the menu. Located in Cleveland’s Gordon Square, the space feels vibrant and thoughtfully designed—bright, clean, and welcoming—with a wellness-centric vibe that encourages you to slow down and take notice. 

That said, it leans a little on the pricey side. For what is essentially a health bar, the cost is noticeable, especially if you visit often. But there’s a sense that you’re paying for more than just what you consume—you’re paying for quality, environment, and that intangible feeling of wellness.

What really makes PureFyx stand out is how the space complements the offering. It’s not loud or overbearing; instead, it invites calm and connection. The atmosphere feels deliberately curated, likely to match the brand’s mission of elevating nourishment from something routine to something enriching. 

While I won’t dive into specific menu items, I will say that everything I saw, from the layout to the presentation, suggested high standards. For someone who values environment and quality as much as flavor, PureFyx delivers. If you don’t mind paying a little extra, it’s a nice place to spend time...

I visited PureFyx the first week the business opened and have been hooked ever since. Pure perfection in their craft. It is so rare to find a business that uses excellent ingredients, takes zero shortcuts, and produces a top-quality product...all that and the staff truly cares. It's great to support a business that produces amazing products, but when the people are wonderful too, it's the best.
