Rebel Drive-In Restaurant — Restaurant in Cleveland

We had breakfast here a few months ago and liked it well enough. Today we planned our entire day around having lunch here as they close at 2PM, and it was a disaster. A server took our drink order pretty quickly, but never returned with our drinks, but was waiting on other tables. After 10 minutes another server approached the table, took our drink order and gave us BREAKFAST menus (1225 at this point). The server returned in a timely manner and we asked to swap out our breakfast menus for lunch menus. After a few minutes we placed our order. The tables around us filled up pretty quickly after we placed our order. After thirty minutes pass buy, we inquire about our food as all of the people who came AFTER us have received their food & the table next to us was even being pre-bussed! The server said everyone came in at once and the food was all coming out in once, and that was just not true. We waited a few more minutes and three more tables that came in after us received their food....at that point we got up to leave. We stopped to pay for our beverages and an angry man slammed down a wadded up paper with our order written on it. We had only ordered a hamburger, chicken sandwich and basket of onion rings....not sure what the problem was as nobody ever communicated with us, but they didn't seem to have problems filling the other orders, and I saw a lot of sandwiches and onion rings. Visited today since we had never been. Service was great and very nice, food however was lacking and there is a gas leak that isn't being dealt with. I noticed a smell right away, but when the heat kicked on, it was obviously gas. After a few minutes I became dizzy and my chest felt heavy, but having recent health issues, I didnt say anything right away. When my husband noticed as well, he let them know and was told "it is just always like that". No, that is not acceptable. Waitress was very nice though and turned it off, the smell cleared with the heat down and I felt better soon after. That needs to be checked immediately. Now to the food. My husband got the lottaburger and he liked it and the fries were good. I got the hamburger steak which was very thin and had no seasoining at all. My green beans were the same, no flavor and were shriveled and tasted slightly burnt or spoiled (couldn't decide what was off). Was sadly dissapointed, but if the gas issue is fixed, would give them a second chance since he liked his food and the waitress...

Spent $73 on inedible food. Ordered 2 hobos and biscuit and gravy. Gravy was the worst gravy I've ever had.. I'm not sure what everybody else got. Maybe would have been better if the biscuit was fresh and soft. The biscuits were literally huge crackers that wasn't crisp. Couldn't eat either hobo due to biscuits being unbelievably hard. Ordered Turkey and cornbread dressing and they sent meatloaf and mashed potatoes which couldn't be ate because of severe tomato allergy. There was even ketchup all over the outside of the to go container. With all the food together we couldn't even piece together a plate for one person. I'm sick that I'm out that much money and we're all sitting here hungry. I'll never order...
