Tenampa mr — Restaurant in Cleveland

Came in and orders menudo to go. I was told I have to get it off the buffet. Oh no problem. I asked how much will it be? I was told $16.99. Whoa!!! That's a bit pricey but I was told it comes with a drink and a salad as well. Ok no problem. I pack my food to go and hand my debit card to the server. He takes my card out of sight for a long time... Uncomfortably long time. When he come back a message appeared on my phone saying my card was charged $24.84. Wait what?!? The server told me when I questioned the charge it was because I added on extra such as a drink, cilantro & lime and 2 corn tortillas. That's a complete lie. I was told that came with the price of the buffet. I know from ordering menudo that those items come with it. Then on top of being overcharged. The server was definitely under the influence of alcohol while working. He reeked of liquor!!! And to top it all off the music was so loud and derogatory you weren't able to hold a conversation with the person next to you. I called in my to go order and was told 25 mins. I arrived to collect my order and was told another 20 minutes as they had not even started cooking my order. I don't mind waiting for good food though. However once we got home almost all of it was inedible. The nachos were so burnt, they were so bitter and greasy. The chicken quesodilla had tiny shards of bone inside and was made with this gross old shredded chicken that tasted like an old rotisserie chicken. Not grilled or even stewed. The grilled chicken with rice and beans (which literally made my mother sick 🤮) was so bad, it looked like chciken dog treats that were microwaved beyond recognition. The queso birria was ok. I don't understand what posses a kitchen staff member to see the condition and quality of our food and sell it to us. We spent $50 to feed our family that night and after it was all said and done I still had to cook because the whole meal from this restaurant had to be trashed. I will never spend a other dollar...

Last night was my husband, my mother in- law, and my fist time trying this restaurant we all really like the environment the inside is very nice and relaxing, great music, with different varieties of music which is enjoyable. I really loved my meal, it was very tasty, I ordered something I’ve never tried before and I was honestly very pleased, also my Mother in law and my husband were very happy with her meal as well. I was also very pleased with our server, he gave us time to look over the menu then decide what we wanted, the best thing I definitely love that it’s authentic food.
